Converting is a Crafting Method available at Crafting Benches to perform Alchemy.
It allows players to convert materials from one type to another using a catalyst.
Character Ascension Materials[]
Character Ascension Material of the same quality can be converted into each other by using Dust of Azoth. The amount of dust need per conversion is dependent on the quality of the Elemental Gem.

Transfigured Dreams[]
Dream Solvent can be used to convert Weekly Boss drops for ascending talents and Billets for forging weapons. It can only convert between materials from the same boss or billets of the same weapon type. One Dream Solvent is needed to convert a Weekly Boss item, and two to convert a forging billet. When using Crafting Benches, the conversion recipes involving Dream Solvent are listed under "Transfigured Dreams."
Disassemble the "Maintenance Mek"[]
Maintenance Meks can be converted to "Maintenance Mek" Salvaged Parts. When using Crafting Benches, the conversion recipes involving Maintenance Meks are listed under "Disassemble the "Maintenance Mek"."

Change History[]
- After Converting an item, the formula selection interface will no longer move so that the selected formula appears at the bottom, and will instead align the interface so that the selected formula is in the middle of the screen. Moreover, formulas for which the player runs out of materials will not immediately be moved to the bottom of the list; the list will only be updated after switching to another screen.
