"Snow on the Hearth" is a Special Dish that the player has a chance to obtain by cooking Sakura Mochi with Kamisato Ayaka. The recipe for Sakura Mochi can be acquired from Act I of Kamisato Ayaka's Story Quest: The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit, With You.

"Snow on the Hearth" revives the selected character and restores 20% of Max HP and an additional 1,500 HP to the target character. Like most foods, this cannot target other players' characters in Co-Op Mode.

  1. Japanese: The dish's name is a slight modification of the phrase 紅炉上一点の雪 kouro-jou itten no yuki, taken from the 近思録 Kinshiroku/近思錄 Jìnsīlù, a book of philosophy compiled by the Chinese scholar Zhu Xi in 1176. Zhu Xi's work was greatly influential in both China and Japan. In context, the phrase means "[like a spot of snow on the burning hearth], self-interest/hesitation/doubt will melt away in an instant."
  2. Italian: Focolare is also commonly used as a symbol for the home and family intimacy.
