Patch 1.12.2 Summary and Highlights

Patch 1.12.2 Summary

Shadow Realm Blessings Scaling Adjustments

Early Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes now provide higher bonuses to attack and damage negation up until level 10.

Bonuses for levels 11 to 19 are slightly toned down to compensate for the increased scaling early on. However, players are incentivized to max out their Shadow Realm Blessings because the level 20 bonuses are slightly increased.

Fix for Framerate Issues on PC

A bug has been confirmed that enables Raytracing by default, causing performance issues on PC.

If you experience any stuttering or low framerates, check your settings if Raytracing has been turned on inadvertently. If you had it turned off prior to installing the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, turning it off once again should improve the game's performance.

Graphics Settings Issues for PC

The developers acknowledged a bug where the raytracing settings are automatically enabled if you have previously loaded saved data from previous game versions.

If you experience low framerates, go to SYSTEM > Graphics Settings > Raytracing Quality and check if it has been unintentionally turned ON. Toggle the setting OFF to prevent raytracing from being turned on by default.

Other balance adjustments and bug fixes are also planned for future patches.
