The O Mother gesture can be obtained from a statue underneath a tree north of Bonny Village. Cross the first broken bridge in Bonny Village and then head north to find the O Mother Gesture by the tree near the edge of the cliff.

Get to the underground section of Moorth Ruins through an opening and drop down to the lowest level. At the bottom, you'll find a path that leads you to a ladder. Climb the ladder out the well and you'll arrive at Bonny Village.

The O Mother gesture is used to unlock a secret path that leads to a large area northeast of the Shadow Keep.
To open this path, use the O Mother gesture in front of the Marika Statue in the room beside the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace.
Shadow Keep, Back Gate Gesture Secret and Location
Scaduview is the area to the north of Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus. You can also find the Finger Ruins of Dhea in this area, which is part of Count Ymir's questline.

1 | Start from the Church District Entrance Site of Grace and jump through the roofs to reach the roof with the Fire Knight. |
2 | Head south and jump on one of the arches of the big cathedral building. Get up to the roof to find a hole at the top. |
3 | Drop down on top of the beams and continue your way onto another hole on the floor you can drop into. Continue through the corridor with Fire Knights and take the second exit on the left out of the corridor to reach an elevator lift. |
4 | After reaching the top level, head left to find the Storehouse, Back Section Site of Grace. Climb the ladder to the west from here. |
5 | From the ladder, climb up the stairs on the right and exit through a hole on the wall behind the bookshelves. Continue to the right until you reach the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace. Take the elevator up next to the site. |
6 | From the lift, walk on the beams going left and then going right twice to reach a ladder that takes you up. |
7 | From the ladder, go left thrice, then right, and finally left again to jump down on the gear platform below the beams. Jump back on the beams across to reach the ladder. |
8 | After climbing the ladder, go left and then right before jumping down on the beam below. Jump down again on the platform to the west to reach an exit out to a balcony. Head right and take the lift going down. |
9 | Continue on the wooden platforms from the lift to reach another elevator lift going down. |
10 | When you reach the bottom, you'll see the Shadow Keep, Back Gate Site of Grace. |
