Ropli is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. He serves as the representative of Wachumeqimeqi, a prominent trading hub in Tural.
History[]
Ropli was introduced to the Warrior of Light by Wuk Lamat, who sought his help to repair a badly nicked axe. While Ropli took care of the weapon, a hesitant goldsmith named Fonjeantaine appeared, struggling with his self-doubt after failing to live up to the standards of his peers in Ul'dah. Despite his reluctance, Fonjeantaine eventually opened up about his insecurities, spurred by Wuk Lamat and the Warrior of Light. After much reflection, Fonjeantaine resolved to give his craft another chance, rediscovering his original passion for spreading joy through his work.[1] Wuk Lamat introduced Fonjeantaine to Ropli. With Ropli's encouragement and Wuk Lamat's friendly support, Fonjeantaine regained his confidence and secured work as an artisan in Wachumeqimeqi.[2]
