Midtown Scholar Bookstore | Harrisburg, PA (Bookstore)

If this little book haul isn‘t a reflection of my eclectic nonfiction tastes, I don‘t know what is. My kids got me a gift card to an indie bookstore for Christmas. But they‘re only open for sidewalk sales and it has been super cold and snowy this winter. Nute Wonderful stack of books! I didn‘t know that Hidden Valley Road is out in paperback. I will purchase that book soon. I‘m more curious about Between Two Kingdoms, but I‘m not sure if I can experience the sadness that might be present in that story in my life right now. 4y

My small but mighty book haul from yesterday‘s author event. Of course I bought a book for her to sign. And then two more jumped into the pile. I was planning to browse, but hit my dollar limit in the first five minutes. So I started reading the top two books. Seriously need that snow day the weatherman is talking about for Wednesday!

The Empty Shelf | Trevor E. Donaldson, Haleh M. Donaldson, Jake Barnes

Carpet is replaced. The bookshelf is officially reconfigured. All the boxes are broken down. It only took three-ish hours and 45 trips up and down the stairs! Only casualty was one knuckle, which got caught between two boxes. Owwie!
