⌞ Angel is so entranced by Rhys, he decides to do gay porn just to be closer to him… but teddy bear is straight? Right? ⌝
I can’t resist a gentle giant teddy bear. Even better when he falls to his knees for a confident femme in lace.
This was just filthy deliciousness, a sweet romance, hot porn filming, a yummy blushing bigboy realizing what was missing in his life was a dazzling, dress and heels wearing camboy/pole dancer.
“What do you want, Rhys?” I ask again, hips snapping forward a little harder. He cries out, a choked, broken sound. “You, Angel. I want you.”
The smut was a great mix of sweet and sexy. I loved Angel’s innocence, his unexpected kinky side, Rhys’ light dominance. The kink was a surprise, especially ‘cause feet? Ew. But here it really worked. [ I don’t need another kink to add to the list, please brain don’t make this become a thing]
The story was very sweet and romantic, low on the angst, some lovely themes of acceptance and found family, and… just great porn, honestly.

This was a breezy, easy peasy, super smutty, fun time. The relationship was sweet, the spice hot, the plot entertaining and light. Special? Not really, but I also don’t have any complaints.
Fuck, why is Arrow so goddamn cute? Motorcycle riding badasses are not supposed to be this sweet.
I loved how sweet they were, how they were both falling hard but not trying to show it. The prank war was actually funnier than I thought it would be, and I’m curious about the rest of the Ink Slingers crew.
I love KM Neuhold’s writing style, and look forward to seeing more of this series.

This was disappointing. With the ‘fake dating the sister, but falling for the brother’ premise, there was so much potential for pining and secret encounters. Instead, it was filled with boring dialogues. I’m not a fan of useless filler dialogues about craft beer, famous books, and other unimportant stuff.
The romance had no sparkle and no feeling. The spice was very rushed and mostly closed doors.
Once they get together, I lost interest and the story was just chapter after chapter of boring family time, very skimmable and skippable.

Liam needed a fake boyfriend. Now that the family is starting to love him too much, he needs a bad boyfriend.
Fun premise, entertaining overall. The romance was a bit lacking, since the plot concentrated more on the ‘fake’ portion of the relationship. The spice was also very light, and I would’ve liked to see Ambrose and Liam together more, not just Ambrose being a fake dickhead.
I also did not enjoy the Marcus drama plot line at all. There were so many other ways to create some third act drama, but this one was not it.

Very cute, very sweet, very chill. Maybe a little too chill and cheesy for me, though.
The GRR gods don’t want me to read this series, so this one was the first I actually managed to snag. Having LOVED the first FU series, I gotta say my expectations might’ve been a little too high. Not to say this wasn’t a good little cute romance. It was just a bit boring.
“How’d we taste together, baby?” “Like heaven.”
Like most of the plot, the smut was also a mix of very hot and sweet moments and some OTT bits. The daddy kink, while a nice surprise in the beginning, was mostly for show and not really believable. And let’s not forget the split on the dick. That scene will be memorable for all the wrong reasons. The dirty talk was really hot though, and I really liked how the characters fit together.
It was fucking nirvana. Cockvana?
Overall, it was just too low angst cheesiness and surface-level for me, and I didn’t really connect with the characters or the story, so it can’t be more than an average, mid three star read.

Something Unprofessional was perfectly sweet and steamy. The characters were fun and felt real. This trope works for a reason, and the added kink was just the cherry on top.
I loved Ev, the sassy and bratty middle, the aggressive cuddler, the badboi aesthetic but softie insides. And Gabe just screamed Daddy in every possible way. If only we could all have our own Gabe. *dramatic sigh*
“Well, who is Daddy to deny his boy when he’s so very needy?”
The plot was plain ridiculous, but I kind of enjoyed the fantasy of it. Yes, IRL they probably would’ve recognized each other right away, but the whole pretending that they didn’t was pretty fun.
The romance was smushy and fluffy, not at all surprising or revolutionary but a perfect comfort read for me, and I’m gonna have to dive into the other installments of this series ‘cause this was delightful.

Rookie Recovery was a sweet and fun read. I love chaotic, ‘always say whatever is on their mind’ characters, and Archie was just that. Flirty and cocky, but really using the attitude as a shield, ‘cause he’s still insecure and looking for the perfect place to call home.
I enjoyed their banter, the cute dates (but of course Jamie isn’t calling them that), the adorable pet names. The angst was minimal, the only emotions this read provoked was tranquillity and serenity.

“You don’t have to pretend to be anything because you’re already everything.”
Quinn and Tristan’s story was sweet, but was lacking…something. My heart wasn’t fully invested in this one.
There were way too many dialogues and inner monologues that went on for pages and pages. A whole lot of extra filling that made me lose interest in them as a couple.
I don’t mind the evil ex trope, especially when mixed in with some fake dating to make them jealous, but I don’t feel it was executed quite right here. The ex was barely present, the fake date too short. There was no real resolution in the end either, no grand dramatic fight.
The smut was also a little lackluster. I know, I know. I can’t possibly expect authors to reinvent the wheel, but it just felt really bland. Yes, it was slow and sweet and it fit the characters, but there was no spark, no passion. It felt repetitive after a bit, so much so that the switch scene felt almost identical to the first sex scene. It was all I saw stars behind my eyes, it has never felt like this, he looked at me like i was special…over and over again.
My last point is the ADHD rep. It felt a little forced? Like okay, Quinn has ADHD, but do we really have to constantly bring it up? Can they not talk about anything else? Is every issue they have have to lead back to his ADHD? I’m all for inclusive representation, but not when it doesn’t feel genuine.
Not my fave of the series by far. Had its moments, and will definitely be a nice and sweet and fluffy read for most.

Tons of action, car chases, secret agents, general badassery and a sizzling romance.
Under the Radar was a fun spin on your typical romance. More focused on the action than the actual romance, but still pretty entertaining. It was like watching one of those ultra cheesy, extra cheese, ‘stop-I’m-lactose-intolerant’ level of cheesiness, action movies. Flying bullets, bad guy villains, some near death experiences. You know, typical action movie stuff, but make it gay.
It lacked a bit of development in some parts, though. The six month time skip at the start really deprives you of the whole beginning of their relationship, making it feel way too fast and insta-love. I also would’ve liked maybe some more backstory and depth to the characters.

⋆ ★ Truth or Dare? ★ ⋆ This classic party game can be a pretty fun tool in romances — leading to meet-cutes, creating some sexy moments, or revealing some eye-opening truths. What this anthology was trying to achieve with the game night theme was an interesting one, but I do feel some stories didn’t quite hit the mark. For me, the theme fit the college stories more than the adult ones. It felt more realistic, more probable, for teenagers/new adults to be playing these games. The more “adult” the characters were meant to be, the less them casually playing truth or dare felt believable.
Overall, there were a couple winners for me that were worth the long read, but some just weren’t meant to be in here, since they barely fit the theme.

Still the same sweet love story from The Anonymous Hookup just told from Sam’s POV. This was a lovely addition to an already cute novella.
