Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut - Demo Version is a demo of Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut. The build date of the demo is 30 May 2003,^[1] which is about half a month before the game's full release (in North America).

The demo itself was featured and is playable in the Nintendo GameCube Preview Disc^[2] and the Interactive Multi-Game Demo Disc Version 11 compilations.^[3]

• Upon pressing start on the title screen, the player is immediately taken to the "Select a character" screen.
• The name of the stage, in which the character is playable in, appears under the character's name:
  • Emerald Coast for Sonic and Big.
  • Icecap for Tails.
  • Red Mountain for Knuckles.
  • Final Egg for Amy.
  • Windy Valley for Gamma.
• Upon choosing a character, it will lead the player to the "Control Instruction" screen before the player can play the level.
