The Employee ID Card[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a card used to unlock the entrance to Speed Highway in Station Square.

Description[]

The Employee ID Card is a white rectangular identification document, with written text and red outlines on it, for employees of a unspecified business, though it is possibly for Cyber-net inc. employees.

Overview[]

In Sonic Adventure and its enhanced port Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut, the Employee ID Card appears exclusively in Sonic's storyline, where it can be found on the triangle-shaped patch of grass in front of the hotel in the Central District after completing Twinkle Park.

The Employee ID Card needs to be picked up and taken to the steel gate at the Cyber-net Inc. building in the Central District. Once the player stands before the steel gate with the Employee ID Card in hand, the gate will open and the player can access Speed Highway.

Trivia[]

  • The model of the ID Card is used again to initiate missions in Mission Mode. Touching the mission cards will begin the objective. However these cards cannot be picked up as they will disappear once the mission begins and permanently after the mission is cleared.
  • The Employee ID Card is found in the same place as the cart pass.
