Double Dice are two Dice Blocks that appear as a special item. Double Dice were known as Double Dice Set in Mario Party DS, and formerly Double Dice Block until Mario Party: The Top 100.

In Mario Party DS and Mario Party Superstars, this item is the successor to the Mushroom, Mega Mushroom, Mushroom Capsule/Mushroom Orb, and Twice Candy (from Mario Party 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. And like these items, this item allows the player to roll 2 Dice Blocks (for 2-20 spaces).

Description[]

If the player uses the Double Dice, the player can roll two Dice Blocks (for 2-20 spaces) at one go. In every game appearance, it functions the same.

In Mario Party DS[]

Item-Double

Double Dice Set in-game.

Players can normally gain Double Dice Set from Monty Mole's shop for 3 coins. It lets the player roll numbers to make a possible combination between 2-20. The player gets 10 coins if they roll the same numbers (or 30 coins for two "7's").

Strategy[]

Useful almost anywhere, as moving a greater number of spaces gives the player more options in where he or she can go. In addition, it increases the chances that a player can purchase multiple stars on the same turn, allowing for a usually decisive move. These items can be purchased from the first turn, and are present every time in the shop. Use early and often.

In Mario Party 10[]

Double Dice Block in-game.

The player rolls 2 Dice Blocks (for a total of 2-20 spaces) if they land on the Special Dice Block Space.

In Mario Party: Star Rush[]

In Balloon Bash, if the player includes Mario's amiibo, the player will gain a Double Dice Block.

In Mario Party: The Top 100[]

Even if the item's name changed, it retains its function.

In Mario Party Superstars[]

The item functions the same way as previous games (including Mario Party 2 through DS). This item costs 5 coins if bought at an Item Shop. The player gets a bonus 10 coins if they roll the same numbers. But there is no special coin bonus for matching the Dice Blocks with "7's". Two "7's" is now a bonus 10 coins instead of 20 or 30 (unlike in previous installments).
