Jake Johnson

Jake Johnson is a American actor, producer, writer, and director. He portrayed Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He is set to reprise his role in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

Early Life[]

Jake Johnson was born in May 28, 1978 since he was little he gained a kind of admiration of the late comedian John Belushi thanks to all the thing that passed about him in the TV. Belushi inspire Jake to began to wanted to make people laugh and feel happy that inspired him to become a comedy actor.^[1]

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse[]

Jake Johnson's casting was announced in April 2018 at CinemaCon revealing that he was going to play Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man, in the film. Following it's released his role was referred to as Peter B. Parker as a way to not confused casual fans with the alternate Peter of Miles' dimension.^[2][3]

Jake also recorded a cover of "Deck the Halls" for the film's EP, A Very Spidey Christmas, based on a fictional Spider-Man Christmas album mentioned in the movie, that was released a few days after the film.

As of mid-2021, he is in talks to return to the sequel in the same role. He is expected to return in Beyond the Spider-Verse.^[4]
