Sergeant First Class "Truck" is a supporting character in the 2011 video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

He is a Delta Force operator who is a member of Team Metal, and is under the command of Master Sergeant Sandman. Truck and the team participate in World War III, and helped end the war by saving the Russian president and his daughter, Boris and Alena Vorshevsky from the Inner Circle.

He was voiced by Idris Elba, who voices Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Knuckles, and also played Heimdall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stacker Pentecost in Pacific Rim, John Luther in the titular TV series, Roland Deschain in the 2017 adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower, Bloodsport in The Suicide Squad, and voiced Fluke in Finding Dory.

Biography[]

Military Service[]

The soldier code-named "Truck" joined the United States Military at an unknown time, and managed to reach to the rank of sergeant first class. Truck later joined Delta Force, and became a member of Team Metal, which consisted of team leader Sandman, and later operatives Grinch and Derek "Frost" Westbrook.

World War III[]

Truck participated in Operation: Black Tuesday, and assisted Frost and his teammates in fighting against the Russian Army and Ultranationalists. After fending off the Russians on the street, Truck and the team advance until an enemy helicopter arrives in the area. The team are forced to head inside a building for cover, and Sandman orders Truck and Grinch to move up to a store as he and Frost clear the area. Truck assists Sandman and Frost in clearing the store as Grinch provides over watch, and meet with friendlies outside.

Truck and Team Metal meet with Team Anvil, and the soldiers are tasked with taking out an enemy jammer at the Stock Exchange. The team managed to reach the jammer, and clear the location and destroy it with thermite. The team are evacuated via a helicopter, and manage to shake off Russian hinds pursuing them. When Germany was attacked with gas, Truck didn't participate in rescuing the U.S. Vice President with Team Metal, but met with his team after they managed to capture bomb maker, Volk. Truck and the team were forced to fight off Russian forces on the ground, but were assisted by an AC-130 gunner. Truck and the others manage to get Volk to the U.S. authorities, and battle off the Russian forces in Paris.

Days later, Truck and Team Metal are deployed to Berlin to find the Russian president's daughter, Alena Vorshevsky. She is trapped in a hotel, which is swarming with hostile Inner Circle soldiers who managed to kill off her security detail. When Team Granite are killed while trying to save Alena, Team Metal is tasked with saving her themselves. While fighting in the streets, a rigged building destroys their friendly tank armors, forcing them to go without support. Truck and the team fight their way through the building, but fail to save Alena from the Inner Circle. Despite failing to save Alena, they manage to track the helicopter to a diamond mind in Siberia.

Rescuing Boris Vorshevsky[]

Truck and Team Metal (excluding Frost) are deployed to the diamond with the disavowed Task Force 141 members, Captain John Price and Yuri. The group infiltrate the mine and are given air support with a UAV Predator and multiple little birds, and they manage to find Alena, who gives them the location of her father. Truck and the group go deeper into the mine, and manage to find and rescue Boris Vorshevsky. After securing Vorshevsky, the team are forced to evacuate via a Black Hawk, but are attacked by Russian forces.

When Yuri was wounded by a RPG round, Truck helped him by carrying as Sandman, Grinch and Price gave him cover. Truck later assists Sandman and Grinch, as Price takes Truck's place of carrying Yuri to the Black Hawk. Sandman orders the Black Hawk pilot to leave them, despite the protest of Captain Price to save them. The mine finally collapsed, presumably killing Truck, Sandman and Grinch alongside the Russian Ultranationalists. Truck, Sandman and Grinch's death were not in vain, however, as saving the Russian president allowed for a peace treaty to end the third world war. Captain Price and Yuri would then go on to avenge them further by killing Vladimir Makarov, but Yuri died during the mission.

Truck is seen and heard in Spec Ops, appearing in "Stay Sharp" and "Charges Set" alongside Sandman and Grinch.
