Biography[]

Dimitri Ivanovich Belikov joined the Soviet Armed Forces presumably during the 1950s or 1960s, and managed to reach the rank of major and becoming a Soviet pilot. According to Belikov if the player meets with Charkov in his office, they were the survivors of their platoon, and flew Mi-24's helicopters. After his service in the military, Belikov joined the KGB and became a security officer for the Soviet intelligence agency; By the late 1960s, Dimitri started working for the CIA after coming into contact with agent Jason Hudson during the Vietnam War. Belikov appeared to enjoy Western entrainment, as he is a fan of the Chicago Cubs when being handed a baseball cap by Woods.

Mount Yamantau[]
When the CIA learn that Perseus is after a list containing Nikita Dragovich's sleeper agents, Belikov was asked to assist Frank Woods and Alex Mason on the operation at Mount Yamantau to collect said list. Belikov brings the two to the facility via a Mi-24 hind, and reminds Woods what the KGB do to double agents before telling them they need to hurry because of the helicopter fuel. Dimtri provides support when Woods and Mason find the mainframe, and extracts the two with the mainframe with a hook form the helicopter. Though the mission was a success, Hudson's superior, Emerson Black reveals that Perseus wiped the mainframe to keep the CIA off his tracks. Black informs Hudson that the only source to keep the list is from the KGB headquarters in Moscow, where the names are locked within the mainframe bunker.
KGB Headquarters[]
Seeing that they need to infiltrate the KGB, Adler decides to call Dimitri to get them inside since he has security clearance to get to the underground bunker. Belikov agrees to help Adler, but can inform him that the KGB is investigating for a suspected mole and that security measures have been increased. In addition, if the player saved Lukas Richter, Adler will ask Belikov if he could eliminate the agent. After speaking with Adler, a soldier informs Belikov that Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev has requested him for a meeting with Lev Kravchenko and Imran Zakhaev. Belikov learns that Gorbachev has ordered safety precautions, and Zakhaev states that only Charkov will have a security key and access to the elevators. Seeing that he is out of options, Belikov disables the building's cameras before seeing his options to get the key. The player has numerous options to either eliminate Charkov from informing the KGB that he is the mole, or frame his former ally as the suspect.
After framing or eliminating Charkov, Belikov goes to the boiler room, and signals Adler and Bell to come in to take out two of his officers. Belikov later helps Adler and Bell get through the security checkpoint, stopping an officer form discovering that that latter's were spies. Adler and Bell succeed in getting to the underground bunker, and collect the list of sleeper agents from the mainframe while fighting Spetsnaz and KGB soldiers. Despite Dimitri's attempts to prevent himself from being suspected, the KGB learn that he is the mole and held at gunpoint by a Spetsnaz officer when Bell and Adler are escaping. He is rescued when Bell releases gas into the bunker, and the trio manage to fight off the Spetsnaz and KGB soldiers while wearing heavy armor and escape with Eleazar "Lazar" Azoulay.
Solovetsky Islands[]
If Bell admits the truth of Perseus's location, Belikov will give Adler and his team Soviet armor to assault the Solovetsky Islands.
