Distraction Action! (or Decoy Trailer! in the PlayStation version) is a mission in Grand Theft Auto 2 available during Area 2: Residential, given to the protagonist Claude Speed by the Zaibatsu Corporation boss Red Valdez. The mission is available from the red phone in The Village in Residential District, after the completion of Murder in the Mall!
Maximum Respect for the Zaibatsu is required in order to unlock this mission, indicated by the red light icon below the gang's respect-o-meter on the HUD.
Description[]
Red Valdez is planning on pulling off a job, but needs the cops out of the way. He has Claude create a diversion by stealing a Special Agent Car from the police station, then luring the cops away until the job can be finished.
Reward[]
The reward for completing the mission is $70,000, +1 Score Multiplier, and increased Zaibatsu Respect level.
