Final Fantasy XIV[]
Vouivres are a type of dragon. They are also known as wivres, though the term vouivre is more frequently used to avoid confusion with the quadrupedal scalekin used as mounts by the Mamool Ja.
Each dragon metamorphosizes over their course of their long lives according to the needs of their environment, resulting in several drastically different creatures of the same race. Vouivres are a form evolved from wyverns that further specializes in flight, adopting a sleek, aerodynamic form. Vouivres that further refine their flight abilities are known to evolve into serpentine falaks.
The common Vouivre can be encountered as a regular enemy in the Churning Mists, as well as during the FATEs Vouivre Believre and Rastaban Vibration.
