Medicines are consumable items in Black Myth: Wukong. They can have various different effects making the Destined One more resistant to certain attributes, healing him or buffing him in different ways. The Celestial Medicine can only be crafted at Xu Dog's station and will permanently increase the Destined One's attributes.

Formulas are ancient pages that can be found while exploring, defeating certain enemies or purchased from Xu Dog. By acquiring a formula, you will be able to craft certain medicines at Xu Dog or Keeper's Shrine's "Make Medicine" option.
