The Umbrella is a Sword that is introduced in Fire Emblem Fates. A joke weapon that literally takes on the appearance of an intricately-designed parasol, the Umbrella is handicapped in combat due to its low Might.
The Umbrella is in some ways a weaker version of the Wakizashi, since both weapons restrict the user from doubling opponents and allow the opponent to have a better chance at doubling them. However, its ability to attack from 1-2 range away gives it flexibility of use. The Umbrella has the advantage of being able to activate skills and criticals unlike the Kodachi, however it lacks the Might that the Kodachi has.
