Kadomatsu

Overview[]

The Kadomatsu functions as a seasonal support-oriented weapon, where it shares its effect with the other weapons that debuted on the Happy New Year! banner. As with the other weapons from its banner, this weapon grants the wielder a pseudo-Drive skill; boosting the Defense and Resistance stats of allies within 2 spaces during combat by 2.

It is the default weapon of New Year Camilla.

Etymology[]

A Kadomatsu, literally meaning gate pine, is a traditional Japanese new year's decoration meant to welcome ancestors and harvest kami into their home or local temple.
