Daphnel

After Seiros prevailed over Nemesis and the Adrestian Empire completed its conquest of Fódlan, the Church of Seiros revised history to write Daphnel and the Elites as heroes who helped create the new society alongside Nemesis, but became corrupt and had to be struck down by Seiros. According to a memoir found in the Abyss library and seemingly written by one of the 10 Elites (or Maurice), Daphnel was killed by Seiros and/or her forces in the months following Nemesis' death and the war's tide turning against them. Daphnel's descendants however were spared, became nobility of the Empire and later, the Leicester Alliance, passing down his Crest through the centuries.

In Imperial Year 1185, a warrior named Daphnel served as one of the ten commanders of the army of Nemesis, who had been revived by the technology of Those Who Slither in the Dark. While Claude dismissed the idea that this Daphnel could have been the revived original, the fact that Nemesis himself was revived lends credence to the possibility that Those Who Slither in the Dark truly did preserve the Ten Elites and restore them to life (albeit, aside from Nemesis none of those revived speak, and Claude notes they are simply Nemesis' puppets). Daphnel, the other Elites, and Nemesis were ultimately defeated, thwarting the final revenge of Those Who Slither in the Dark against the people of Fódlan.
