Carrion Isle is a location from Fire Emblem Awakening. Found just off the coast of the continent of Ylisse, the small island is a territory of Plegia. As the name suggests, it has a reputation for being extremely dangerous. Chapter 13 of Awakening takes place here.
A large Plegian fortress can be found here, which Validar uses to meet with Chrom when he travels from Port Ferox. The rest of the island is covered with trees and rocky ridges. The terrain provides plenty of places for enemies to hide. Aversa warns Chrom that even the highways of Carrion Isle can be treacherous.
Carrion Isle is connected by bridge to the continent.
Story[]
Despite the uncanny air about the new king of Plegia, Validar and the lady Aversa pledge their entire navy to Chrom for use against Valm and even say that they will fund the war. Chrom accepts the gracious offer. Anxious to begin war preparations, he attempts to leave, but Validar stops him and introduces him to the highest ranked hierophant of the Grimleal. When the mysterious figure drops their hood, they reveal that they have the exact same face as Robin.
Unnerved by what they have seen, Chrom and his allies make camp in the forest for the night. Despite the fact that they posted sentries, they are ambushed by a Risen army, implying the Risen are learning from their tactics. The Plegian dark mage Henry joins the fight. Once the Shepherds kill the Risen Chief, Chrom and Robin think the battle is done, yet a Risen assassin appears and attempts to take Chrom's life. Marth saves his life. Afterwards, they have a private conversation during which Chrom realizes that "Marth" is actually his daughter Lucina from the future. Lucina then describes the dire future she has traveled to the past to prevent.
Henry and Lucina will join the Shepherds here.
Trivia[]
