Optimal control of linear time-varying delay systems via single-term Walsh series. (English) Zbl 0648.93030
The paper shows with an example that the method developed by the first author and G. P. Rao [ibid. Part D 130, 300-312 (1983; Zbl 0526.93028)] for the optimal control of linear delay systems can of direct control. A constructive method for the construction of a stabilizing control is worked out.
