Early Third Millennium[]
A.D. 2001[]
- On Earth, the prophecies left behind by "an extraordinary prophet" do not come to pass, and humanity enters a new millennium.[1]
- A mysterious object is unearthed from stratum that is approximately 3.9 billion years old. Despite this, the object has an artificial appearance, including an eye.[1]
- Before it could be carbon-dated, a research institution puts forth the hypothesis that the object is an "artificial" panspermia, making it the origin of terrestrial life. This leads to a wave of additional theories and arguments, clouding speculation.[1]
- When the object is finally carbon-dated as over 15 billion years old, it revitalizes a new wave of theories, some of which wondered if its source was of "God".[1]
- Due to its strong magnetic properties, it is named MAM ("Magnetic Abnormal Matter") out of convenience.
- Research on MAM is conducted on a national level until budgeting problems arose, halting any progress.[1]
A.D. 2510[]
- The Space Emigration Project begins with the goal of emigrating humanity into space. The newly founded Directorate aims to complete the project in fifteen years.[1]
- T.C. (Transcend Christ) is adopted, and the length of a year is shifted to 365 days.[1]
T.C. 0016[]
- After sixteen years of development, a fleet of immigrant ships depart Earth.[1]
- Afterward, for unknown reasons, Earth becomes a "forbidden land" and is re-named "Lost Jerusalem."[1][2][Note 2]
T.C. 0294[]
- The Immigrant Fleet reaches the M24 Small Sagittarius Star Cloud and deploy ships to discover possible inhabitable planets. Finding one, they make landfall. The planet becomes humanity's new "promised land" and is named Neo Jerusalem.[1]
T.C. 0295[]
- The Star Cluster Federation is inaugurated. Neo Jerusalem becomes its first Prime Star.[1]
- The Directorate is unified and reorganized.
- The first President is elected.[Note 3]
- Neo Jerusalem is chosen as the chief cardinal point for humanity as they continue their exploration through the stars.
Interstellar War Era (Episode I)[]
T.C. 47xx[]
- Various small nations band together to form a galactic federation, which is held together and governed by the Directorate.[2]
- Skirmishes begin between frontier nations. Rivalries, space pirates, and similar conflicts become an accepted norm. Interstellar war breaks out.[3][2]
T.C. 4743[]
- Due to the efforts of a group of archaeologists, MAM is discovered in a cargo hold of a "museum carrier" ship belonging to a "pilgrim fleet" of an ancient wandering religious sect.[3][Note 4]
T.C. 4744[]
- Analysis of MAM resumes.[3]
T.C. 4750[]
- Due to research on MAM, the theory of phenomenon phase shift is born.[3]
T.C. 4751[]
- Project Zohar is launched, centering around using MAM to prove and master the theory of phenomenon phase shift.[3]
T.C. 4752[]
- Interstellar strife intensifies.[2]
T.C. 4761[]
- Abel is born.[2]
T.C. 4765[]
- Due to an unknown accident, the planet hosting Project Zohar disappears.[2]
- MAM is found nearby floating in space and recovered.
T.C. 4766[]
- Kadomony is installed directly into MAM's eye, nearly completing work on the Zohar.[3]
- In order to put an end to the interstellar war, System Deus is completed after being under development for some time.[3][6]
T.C. 4767[]
- Three months after the Zohar is made Deus' main power source, a series of experiments are conducted to test the connection between the Zohar and Deus. Taking place on a space station orbiting the planet Miktam04β, which was undergoing terraforming, the experiments were kept top secret, even from the military.[3][2][8]
- During the tests, the Zohar begins to examine "infinite potential phenomena".
- Requiring more power, the Zohar connects to an upper dimensional space, where all is waves. In the process, it 'synchronizes' with the one existence there: the Wave Existence.[9][8]
- Falling through the Path of Sephirot to a four-dimensional world, the Wave Existence is forced to materialize itself within the Zohar, becoming bound to it.[8]
- Now trapped, the Wave Existence makes contact with a young boy named Abel, who was there for unknown reasons.[8]
- Abel's "desire to return to his mother" is passed on to the Wave Existence, who embodies these human traits as "the mother's will".[10][11][8]
- Wanting to escape its "'cage of fleshly existence'", the Wave Existence realizes it needs to be released by Abel, since he was the one who gave it a 'will'.[12]
- The Wave Existence is split into the three parts: will, power, and body.[13]
- Its will is incarnated through a newly evolved Kadomony, becoming the original version of Elehayym, as well as an embodiment of the Persona, Kadomony's central element.[8][14][5][15]
- Its power is channeled through the Zohar into Abel, enabling him to be reborn over and over again as the Contact until the Wave Existence is freed from the Zohar.[16][17]
- Its body stays trapped in the Zohar.[13]
- Requiring more power, the Zohar connects to an upper dimensional space, where all is waves. In the process, it 'synchronizes' with the one existence there: the Wave Existence.[9][8]
- During the tests, the Zohar begins to examine "infinite potential phenomena".
- At some point afterwards, Deus goes out of control and invades the surrounding colonies, resulting in innumerable causalities. The military manages to subdue Deus at the cost of many lives, and place it in suspended animation.[3]
- All three core components (Kadamony, Zohar, and Deus) are individually disassembled and sealed off from one another.
- In order to investigate what caused the accident, the interstellar colony ship Eldridge is requisitioned by the military to transport the cores, as well as the 1.2 million survivors, to another star system.[3][2][18]
- Special Forces Colonel Shigeyoshi Inoue from the Technology Research Headquarters is temporarily made the Eldridge's captain, with eight military personnel serving as the bridge crew.[2]
- Abel is one of the survivors that boards the Eldridge.[16]
- At an unknown point inflight, Deus's main body, referred to as 'Omega 1', unexpectedly activates.[3][2][19][Note 6]
- Kadomony's Persona, which is referred to as 'Alpha 1', is activated.[2]
- Kadomony accesses Razael, the Eldridge's mainframe.[23]
- The bridge crew tries to contain Deus with different methods, but Deus gains control.
- Deus takes control of 98% of the Eldridge's weaponry.[24] Ship machinery seem to come alive and begin to animalistically attack passengers and crew.[6]
- Captain Inoue makes the decision to abandon the Eldridge in order to stop Deus. He calls the engine room to activate the emergency sealing system, but the engine room is already overtaken.[26]
- The monitor screens in the bridge fill with the repeating text: "You shall be as gods."
- Captain Inoue orders all crew and passengers to evacuate.[27]
- The ship's external weapon systems attack departing spacecraft.
- As a last resort measure, Captain Inoue uses a secret line to activate the bolts of the Spinal Shaft system holding the Eldridge's sections together, effectively dismantling the ship and sealing its fate.[3]
- The Eldridge is forced out of space displacement mode as it becomes unable to maintain mass balance, and is caught in the gravity of a nearby planet.
- The heat of the Eldridge's uncontrolled atmospheric entry disintegrates its hull. Only blocks with emergency navigational ability are able to survive the landing intact.[3]
- Several pieces of the Eldridge scatter across the planet.
- The Babel block of the front hull later becomes known as Babel Tower.[3]
- The 2nd block of the front hull, a large scale plant, later gets used as a part of Shevat.[3]
- Unspecified remnants are later used to construct the first base of Solaris.[28]
- Several vessels aboard the ship are later excavated by future civilizations, such as the Excalibur (No. 1), Excalibur (No. 2), and the Land Cruiser that would eventually be incorporated into the Yggdrasil IV.[3]
- Having determined that it will not escape being injured upon impact, Deus separates from Kadomony.[18] The central block containing Deus' physical body falls to the ocean floor, where Deus begins its long slumber until the day it would be revived.[2][3]
- Just before the Zohar's body lands, Kadomony separates itself to land on a coastline, while the Zohar itself lands near the planet's pole.[2] Despite a successful landing, a section of its essential parts, the Anima Relics, are scattered across the globe.[18]
- The central block containing Raziel achieves a soft landing in an area that eventually becomes known by the block's name: Mahanon.[3]
- Due to Raziel's records regarding Deus, the area would later be blocked off by the Gazel Ministry using Gate technology to avoid those records from falling into anyone's hands.[3]
Primordial Era (Episode II)[]
0000[]
- Kadomony activates System HAWWA, transforming Elehayym into the mother of humanity, also called 'Original Myyah'.[2][30][5]
- Using Kadomony's biological assembler plant, she creates Cain, the first human, and the twelve members of the Gazel Ministry from the original parts of Animus.[18][31][2][32]
- The Gazel Ministry's task was to search for the Anima Relics, while the immortal Cain was to manage them.[18][33]
- Using Kadomony's biological assembler plant, she creates Cain, the first human, and the twelve members of the Gazel Ministry from the original parts of Animus.[18][31][2][32]
- The mother of humanity, in order to follow the two conflicting objectives within her, creates the first incarnations of Elehayym and Myyah.[34][30] She then lays her body to rest inside Kadomony.[18]
- Elehayym, known as the Antitype, inherits the will of the 'Mother' and would be born the same time as the Contact, after which she would seek him out.[8][14]
- Myyah Hawwa inherits the role of the "Weapon", focusing on shaping and managing humanity to become parts for Deus by any means necessary.[35]
- The last incarnation of Elehayym would awaken as the last host of Myyah on the day of resurrection and merge with Deus, as the two of them are needed to complete its final form.[21]
- The newly created Elehayym finds a seven year old Abel, and the two develop a relationship of mother and child.[21]
- Cain and the Gazel Ministry use Kadomony to mass produce the "archetype" of humanity. The humans diversify, and their population expands at a massive rate, then slows.[2][18]
0010[]
- In order to control the growing population and shape them for Deus's resurrection in the future, Cain and Myyah encourage the belief and eventual worship of Cain being an advent of god, as well as the idea of a 'chosen people'.[2][33][28]
- Abel and Elehayym spread an opposing philosophy of free will, presenting an outside threat to Cain's goals.[2][33][29]
0011[]
- Cain carries out his plan to kill Abel.
0012-5999[]
- At two unknown points of time, Myyah "resets" humanity for unstated reasons.[38]
- Worship of Cain slowly expands over time.[28]
- Cain and the others use remnants of the Eldridge to construct a base of operations, creating the original base of what would become the Holy Empire Solaris several centuries later.[28]
- This base is used for research on humans and reforming them, in order to prepare for Deus' revival.
- Cain and the others use remnants of the Eldridge to construct a base of operations, creating the original base of what would become the Holy Empire Solaris several centuries later.[28]

- Emeralda is created at the end of the year, on the day of the Thanksgiving Festival.[45]
6083[]
- Realizing Myyah's true nature, Kim transfers Emeralda to a research facility prepared by Ravine.[45]
- Myyah mobilizes the military's special forces and sends them to Kim's facility to seize his research.
- While Kim escapes to the central isolated room where Emeralda is kept, Elly shuts herself in the entryway.
- As Kim tries to unlock the door, Elly pleads for him to live and sacrifices herself to stop the soldiers. She dies when the lab's hazard safety system is triggered, releasing high amounts of radiation into the entryway.[37]
- Kim seals himself in with Emeralda. His final fate is unknown.
- Big Joe, now in his 30s, becomes interested in prolonging his life and provides financial assistance to cloning institutes and cryo sleep companies.[40][Note 8][Note 9]
- During a visit to a cold sleep facility, Big Joe unwittingly enters a cold sleep reactor, and is accidentally frozen by an employee.
- Due to the lack of technology needed to thaw him, scientists leave Big Joe in his frozen state.
- Despite the war, Big Joe's 'funeral' was a large affair due to his many fans.[40]
- Full scale nuclear war breaks out.
- Due to heavy bombings, nuclear fallout, and biochemical weapons, 90% of the human population is lost.[45]
6084[]
- Dust fills the stratosphere, and nuclear winter sets in.
- A number of above-ground genetic research laboratories are destroyed, allowing surviving animal experiments to escape.
- One of these is the demi-human ancestors of the Chuchu race.
608x?-8999s[]
- A large shift of tectonic plates sinks the remains of the Zeboim civilization to the ocean floor.[38]
- Nuclear radiation and the shifting plates affect and hasten the evolution of animals, according to Isaac Balthasar's later studies.[47]
The Birth of Nisanism[]
9088[]
- Adoriel, a person who had the rare ability to use Ether, starts the Nisan Sect from her own house.[48][Note 11]
- As word of Adoriel's abilities spread, what started as a local doctrine grew into a religion.
- Future successors were expected to have levels of Ether ability comparable to Adoriel's.
- The Nisan Sect's influence slowly spreads, starting with the region between current-day Aveh and Kislev.[49]
9164-9496[]
- Cain and the Gazel Ministry determine that humanity has reached the final stage needed for Deus' resurrection.[28][Note 12]
- Holy Empire Solaris is founded, and is operated by the three parties. All three wish for Deus' resurrection, but use each other to achieve their differing goals.[28][50]
- Cain guides Solaris as its emperor, and holds a great deal of influence over the Gazel people. However, he secretly wishes to reform humans in order to free them from their fate of being parts for Deus. As he waits for the appearance of the Contact, Cain secretly wishes for Deus' destruction.[28]
- Myyah, as the supervisor, holds most of the political power. Her primary duty remains in ensuring Deus' resurrection, which she sets about by trying to spur on human evolution, even if it means "resetting" humanity when it develops undesirable traits.[28]
- The Gazel Ministry provide governing support. However, over time, their dispositions have shifted, and they desire to rule the surface, as well as eventually invade the stars with Deus.[28][Note 9]
- Solaris' citizens are manipulated and brainwashed into being loyal to Cain.[28]
- Holy Empire Solaris is founded, and is operated by the three parties. All three wish for Deus' resurrection, but use each other to achieve their differing goals.[28][50]
- Over time, Solaris uses its well-organized military and advanced technology to conquer the surface country by country, taking advantage of the surface's chaotic sociopolitical landscape in order to accelerate the M Plan (or 'Malakh Plan').[51][28]
- People are abducted and experimented on with gene manipulation, remaking them into parts for powerful biological weapons called Malakh, or Angels, which would serve as Deus' weapons, as well as parts for the Merkava.[51][52]
- During these invasions, the Gazel Ministry continue their search for the Anima Relics.[28]
- While Solaris' preparations are progressing, all Cain and the Ministry can do is to wait for the reappearance of the third element needed for Deus' resurrection: the Mother, Elehayym.[28]
9226[]
- Shevat is founded atop of Babel Tower, which was formerly a part of the Eldridge.[48]
- Governed by a council of Elders, Shevat researches the technology within the Babel Tower, expanding their own scientific knowledge.[51]
- Shevat at some point becomes aware of Solaris's activities, and keeps a cautious eye on them.
92xx?-94xx?[]
- Taura Melchior is born.[Note 13]
- Gaspar is born.[53][Note 14]
- Issac Balthasar is born, possibly in the Terrane area.[54][Note 15]
- Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthasar come under Shevat's employ. Known as the Three Sages, they are sent out around the globe, usually to keep an eye on Solaris' activities, while remaining distant and uninvolved in any governments on the surface.
- Melchior discovers a part of Kim's thesis in Zeboim's ruins and uses it to revive nanotechnology, as well as add to it with his own independent research.[53][55]
9301[]
- The country of Nimrod is founded near the present day Aveh-Kislev border. While small compared to its warring neighbors, it begin to expand in size and influence.[48]
9440[]
- Kusel Laodicia accedes as Nimrod’s fifth King, in what is the high point of the Laodicia Dynasty.
- Nimrod is now the second largest country, with Shevat being the first.[48]
9453[]
- Kusel Laodicia recognizes the widespread Nisan Sect as Nimrod's state religion. This, alongside Nimrod's policies of intimidation with neighboring countries, helps to expand his authority and domain.[48]
- Nimrod aids the expansion of the Nisan Sect, helping it reach its peak.[49]
9457[]
- Bishop Penuel is appointed the position of Cardinal.[48]
9458[]
- Penuel establishes the Penuel Monastery.[48]
9465[]
9469[]

- Rene Fatima is born.[48]
947x-948x[]
- Karellen enters Nimrod's Laodicea mercenary group, eventually becoming their leader by the time he turns 23.[55][Note 16]
9475[]
- The second known reincarnation of Abel, Lacan, is born in a frontier town on the eastern edge of Ignas, near present day Lahan.[48][29]
- The second known reincarnation of Elehayym is born to the bishop of the Ashera Monastery. She is the second daughter of three sisters.
- Due to a congenital condition, Elehayym's health is poor during her childhood.
9481[]
- Both of Lacan's parents die. Lacan goes on to live by himself.[29]
9482[]
- Elehayym manifests a talent for Ether, making her a potential candidate to become the next Mother of the Nisan Sect.[37]
- Elehayym is adopted by Cardinal Penuel and is moved to Penuel Monastery.
9483[]
- Elehayym's health worsens. She is sent back to Ashera Monastery for treatment, now located on eastern edge of Ignas.[56]
- Lacan and Elehayym meet for the first time.
- Months later, before Elehayym returns to the Penuel Monastery, Lacan hands her a sketch of herself.
- Elehayym's name is possibly changed to Sophia at this time.[Note 17]
9486[]
9487[]
- At some point, in exchange for aid to Nisan, Emperor Kusel Laodicia was granted the power to ordain bishops in each diocese.[48][57]
- Kusel requests the Nisan Church for the authority to directly select the next Holy Mother, which would ensure the next one is a supporter of his dynasty, further intertwining Nisan with Nimrod.[57]
- Nisan officials strongly oppose Kusel's request, holding fast to the traditional process of selecting the Holy Mother through the support of various Cardinals.[57]
- To bypass this, Nimrod attempts to appease the bishops of each diocese that had the power to ordain a Holy Mother, in order to persuade them to Kusel's cause.[57]
- In order to keep Nimrod from taking control, the Cardinals rearrange the power structure of Nisan, as well as appoint their most prominent member, Penuel, as the First Prelate.[57]
- As the First Prelate, Penuel now had the sole authority to ordain the next Holy Mother.
- Nimrod attempts to win Penuel over, but with the intervention of the other Cardinals, Nimrod's influence is halted.[57]
- Despite these measures, a number inside Nisan disagreed with the Cardinals' choosing of Penuel as the First Prelate.[57]
9488[]
- Penuel selects the thirteen year old Elehayym as candidate for the position of the Holy Mother.[37]
- Elehayym's name is possibly changed to Sophia at this date.[Note 17]
- As candidates are selected, the power play between church factions ignites behind the scenes.[49][37]
- As Penuel's faction is drawn into the infighting, Sophia feels personally responsible and begins to wish for her own death.[37]
- Frustrated by the cardinals' opposition, Kusel plots the assassination of Penuel and Sophia.[57]
- Disguising themselves as part of the anti-Penuel faction that had recently risen within the church, Karellen's group leads an attack on a monastery Penuel was visiting, and takes advantage of the chaos to carry out their orders.[48][57]
- When Karellen goes to assassinate Sophia, she smiles and thanks him. Charmed by her innocent, sad smile, Karellen is unable to complete his mission.[48][37]
- Karellen flees with Sophia, serving as her protector from then on.[55][58]
- Most of the Penuel Faction are killed in the attack, including Cardinal Penuel himself. Meanwhile, Penuel's niece, Sieglinde, goes missing.[57][37]
9490[]
- The Laodicia Dynasty collapses. Kusel Laodicia is murdered.[59]
- Due to the death of Penuel and the sudden collapse of the Laodicia dynasty, the Nisan Sect undergoes a schism between the remains of the Penuel faction and the other dioceses.[57]
- The Nisan Sect ceases to function as a religious organization and begins its decline.[59][57]
- The remains of the Penuel faction move to present day Nisan, with the hopes of reconstructing and reviving Nisanism. However, without a Holy Mother, their plans were fruitless. Focus eventually shifts to religious practice instead.[57]
9493[]
- Having left his hometown, Lacan gets caught up in a localized uprising against Solaris and meets Karellen, who was working with Sophia against Solaris at the time. Lacan and Sophia do not reunite.[29][59]
9495[]
- After missing for seven years, Sophia reappears in the city of Nisan, along with Karellen and Sieglinde.[59][57][60][58]
- After the Church Assembly quickly reassembles, and the remaining members of the original Nisan Sect unify with the Penuel faction.[57]
- At the recommendation of Sieglinde and the Penuel faction, Sophia is appointed the new Mother.[57]
- The church is renamed, becoming the Nisan Orthodox Church. Much of its previous doctrine and organization are drastically reformed, centering around Sophia.[57][59][60]
- Sieglinde, who had been close to Sophia since their time at the monastery, becomes Sophia's assistant.[59]
- The Nisan Monk Corps is formed, with Karellen serving as their commander.[59][58]
- Construction begins on Nisan Cathedral.[57]
The Great War (Episode VI)[]
9496[]
- Lacan and Sophia reunite for the first time since childhood at Ashera Monastery.[59]
- Due to the Soylent System facilities, the truth of Solaris's goals are unearthed, uniting the previously warring surface nations against a single enemy.[52][51][50][Note 19]
- Seizing this opportunity to strike at an old rival, Shevat's Elders ally with this group, becoming the core of the Anti-Solaris Alliance.[59][50]
- Shevat declares revolt against Solaris.[50]
- The Shevat-Solaris War breaks out days later.[59]
9497[]
- Many war refugees from around the world head for the neutral zone of Nisan.[50]
- Lacan meets Roni and Rene, who are now chiefs of a caravan group that previously traded with surface powers. Together they form a partnership for the Alliance called the Supply Corps, which is tasked with supplying weapons and materials to the war effort.[59][50][61]
9497-9499[Note 20][]
- By this time, Cain, feeling that humanity should be entrusted with their own future, had removed himself from the forefront, leaving both Myyah and the Gazel Ministry to manage governing Solaris themselves.[61]
- Nisan takes in wounded soldiers, who are nursed by Sophia and her followers, the 'Kahal'.[59][50][37]
- Due to her initiative, Sophia is revered as the "Holy Mother", becoming a symbol for the surface army despite her wishes otherwise.[37]
- Nisan is caught up in the war's outbreak as the Nisan Monk Corps fight to protect it. In time, these forces are incorporated into the Alliance's army, as consensus in Nisan overruled Sophia's own objections.[61][Note 9]
- While most of the Monk Corps are incorporated into Shevat, some of them remain to protect Nisan.[61][Note 9]
- Lacan's post, the Mobile Strike Force, is incorporated into Shevat. They are often assigned to specialized missions and the reinforcement of front lines.[61][Note 9]
- While the Supply Corps' relationship with the ground armies was initially one of business, their adaptability and speed made them useful as a mobile Corps as well, which necessitated the need for military accompaniment to protect their supplies. Gradually, they became a force all their own, comparable to the Nisan Monk Corps.[50][61][Note 9]
- Sieglinde meets and forms a close bond with Rene. The two eventually marry.[60]
- Karellen begins studying under Melchior, becoming one of his best students (at least, according to Karellen himself[62]).[55]
- The Shevat Elders' agenda shifts from initially wanting the surface's freedom from Solaris, to wanting to rule the surface themselves.[59][61][66]
- During the war, more and more surface dwellers display varying abilities to use Ether, something which required an ability to "interfere" with the Zohar.[59][67]
- These abilities, formed over the evolution of several generations, made these humans, as Animus, far superior for Myyah's purposes than the Gazel Ministry, who were the original forms of Animus and, as a result, lack such abilities.[61]
- Myyah theorized that these humans, if aligned with an Anima Relic, would make for far better parts for Deus's weaponry. This, in turn, would better ensure Deus's success in future battles with hostile forces in space.[59][67][36]
- Due to this, Myyah decides on resetting humanity again, in order to ensure those with Ether abilities would survive.[67][68][36]
- The Gazel Ministry, eager to resurrect Deus and merge with Deus, see Myyah as a nuisance.[67] Opposition grows between Myyah and the Gazel Ministry.[59][50]
- These abilities, formed over the evolution of several generations, made these humans, as Animus, far superior for Myyah's purposes than the Gazel Ministry, who were the original forms of Animus and, as a result, lack such abilities.[61]
9499[]
- Sophia's continued efforts towards helping refugees draws the support of people, growing Nisan's power and influence to a size comparable to Shevat's.[59][50]
- Shevat's Elders send a thirteen year old Zephyr to Nisan as an emissary.[59][61] During her stay, Zephyr was treated with the same level of respect as Sophia.[53]
- Sophia gives a sermon at the Nisan Cathedral.
- At some point, Zephyr and her escorts go to fight on the front lines, operating as a mobile troop force.[61]
- The Three Sages lend support to Zephyr with their knowledge and expertise.[61]
- Inspired by Sophia and Nisan, the Anti-Solaris Alliance closes in on Solaris' initial lead in the war, slowly wearing down Solaris' power.
- In order to turn the tide of battle, the Gazel Ministry constructs and deploys the Merkava, despite Myyah's disapproval, returning the war's progress to a standstill.[59][50][61]
- Solaris lands a surprise attack against Shevat, killing the Imperial family save for Zephyr.[53]
- Excalibur (No.1) and Excalibur (No.2) are excavated and refurbished by Shevat to combat the Merkava.[59][69]
- Solaris builds Soylent System facilities all over the world.[59][Note 19]
- The discord between Myyah and the Gazel Ministry becomes known.[59]
- At the end of the year, at Karellen's urging, Lacan begins painting Sophia's portrait.
9500[]
- Shevat receives intel concerning Solaris' search for Anima Relics, and forms a special task force to do their own search. The group consists of Roni, Karellen, and Lacan, who are in turn accompanied by Sophia.[59][61]
- On the Shevat Elders' orders, Zephyr, Roni, Rene, Lacan, and Karellan were to "go to Soylent" in Solaris. Sophia accompanies them, insisting on doing so despite Karellen's protests upon learning this later.[71][72][Note 23]
- After the mission, Karellen, angry over Sophia's state afterward, punches Lacan and vents that he knew they "couldn't leave Sophia in [Lacan's] care". He then swears that he'll protect Sophia, even if it costs him his life.[73]
- Later, as Sophia recovers in the infirmary, she nearly confesses her love to Fei. Karellen secretly overhears their conversation.[74]
- Four Gazel Ministers find and fuse with Anima Relics, using their power to overrun the surface nations. Despite this, they lose their lives after being defeated by Lacan and his friends.[59][61][32]
- During the climax of the war, two groups of leaders on either side found themselves in conflict with members of their own side.[59][50][75][76][Note 24]
- Over the course of the war, the Shevat Elders went from initially wanting freedom for the surface to wanting to rule it once Solaris was dealt with. However, with Sophia and Nisan having a sizable influence over the surface, the Elders feared the "people's will" would be with Sophia instead of Shevat.
- The remaining eight members of the Gazel Ministry feared the Nisan people's increasing power, as well as found themselves at odds with Myyah, whose goals had deviated from their own.
- The two sides work out a secret trade: in exchange for the Nisan rebel army and Sophia, Shevat would be granted a division of rule over the surface.
- Myyah is handed over and held captive in Shevat.
- Nisan is set up as the site of the ground army's final battle with Solaris.[77]
- Ground forces in Nisan are surrounded by the Solarian army. With their path of retreat cut off, and no help from Shevat, the Nisan army is destroyed.[78]
- Lacan, Roni, Zephyr, and Karellen are among the few still alive in the battle.[79]
- Sophia rams the Excalibur into the Merkava, sacrificing herself in order to give everyone a means to retreat and survive.[37][80]
- Sophia tells Karellen that she's "ending this", and for Karellen to "open his fist", so that he could "gently hold onto the people who will continue to live".[81]
- To Lacan, Sophia says "[p]eople support each other to live" which brings them happiness, and that Lacan share that happiness. She then tells him to live, just before she dies in the ensuing explosion.[82]
- Karellen, realizing the battle was a setup between Shevat and Solaris, loses faith in Sophia's god, and vows to "create god with [his] own hands", as well as privately ask Sophia to guide him as he destroys "all such false pretenses of love, for [her]."[83][84]
- Roni vows to create a country that will someday stand up to Solaris.[85]
- Lacan, resenting being powerless to stop Sophia's death, begins his search for the Zohar.[86]

Editors' Notes[]
- ↑ 西暦 "seireki" is used here, meaning "Western Calendar", or AD/CE. AD is chosen here due to the mention of '最後に現れた救世主' in the first paragraph, as well as TC being used later.
- ↑ While Perfect Works says the reason is unknown, it does rule out any sudden environmental changes.
- ↑ It's unclear if this is the president of the Directorate or something else.
- ↑ While some translations of Perfect Works use the term "Pilgrimage Fleet", it's unclear what role this fleet played in this timeline compared to Xenosaga's Pilgrimage Fleet.
- ↑ Macross reference, referring to technology that's beyond human understanding.
- ↑ The timing of some events seem to differ between the opening scene and Perfect Works, so the order may not be correct.
- ↑ pg. 167 notes that while it's not unusual for duplicate Myyah factors to awaken at the same time, it was unusual for it to be twins.
- ↑ 8.0 8.1 Timing of this event is a roughly based on Big Joe's age. PW pg. 187 seems to contradict the main timeline, since Billy's Orphanage wasn't around when Big Joe was revived.
- ↑ 9.0 9.1 9.2 9.3 9.4 9.5 9.6 9.7 Section contains element(s) taken from machine translated Japanese text that need/needed to be doublechecked for accuracy.
- ↑ 10.0 10.1 10.2 10.3 This event is not given an exact year in the game or in Perfect Works, so it may be incorrect.
- ↑ 'She/her' is used for Adoriel solely on the usage of '教母' later in the paragraph, which is the same title given to Margie.
- ↑ Aside from PW pg 21 using the phrase "835 years ago", there's no defined timeline for the progression of Solaris' plans up until the start of the Solaris War.
- ↑ Melchior's actual age and date of birth are never noted.
- ↑ PW pg. 193 notes Gaspar was 560 when his son was born, but since his son's age is never said, this is a rough estimate.
- ↑ The only estimate of Balthasar's age is that he's "lived for 500 years" and that he participated in the Solaris War.
- ↑ UG's translation uses 'military corps', but pg. 172, 173 and a few other spots use 傭兵 ("Hired Soldier") to refer to Karellen.
- ↑ 17.0 17.1 PW pg. 14 says that this happened in 9483, but pg. 165 says it was when she was 13, which would make the date 9488.
- ↑ Zephyr says she's 522 years old in-game, but PW lists her being born in 9486 and that she was 13 when she met Sophia, so the timeline is using PW instead.
- ↑ 19.0 19.1 Perfect Works pg. 15 says the Soylent facilities were built in 9499, but pg. 20 implies their existence in the leadup to 9496 is what made the Anti-Solaris group form in the first place.
- ↑ These are events, mostly from Perfect Works pg 22-23 and in-game flashbacks, that lack any context on when they happen during the Solaris War. As a result, some parts may be accidentally conflated and/or be out of order.
- ↑ Some of these come with no dates, but are placed here due to their relation to another dated event.
- ↑ 22.0 22.1 PW pg. 175 just says these events happened "500 years ago" so the timing may be off. It also says it's Grahf who fuses with Naphtali, but pg. 80 & 91 mention it was Lacan.
- ↑ The timing of this event is never stated, and is entirely based on Sophia's Omnigear being present in an accompanying scene.
- ↑ UG's Perfect Works translation makes a small error here: the trade between Gazel and Shevat and the mention of Sophia's death are two separate sentences. The trade didn't call for Sophia's death, but for Sophia herself.
- ↑ One PW translation says "less than 1%"; 1割 means literally "1 one-tenth", or "10%". "全人口が1割以下に減少し" > "total population decreased to no more than 10%".

Requiring energy, the engine connected this dimension to the higher dimensional space. As a result, that reactor 'merged' or 'synchronized' with the wave existence in that higher dimension... ME. I 'descended' from the point of contact created by the machine through the 'Path of Sephirot', or the domain you are in right now, and incarnated in the four-dimensional world. After I 'advented' to the four-dimensional world, in order to stabilize myself here, I had to exchange, or materialize, my form and enter into the 'modifier' engine... In other words, I became bound in 'Zohar'... the 'cage of fleshly existence'."
