I really enjoyed this book. It had a twist you wouldn't normally expect from this type of book.
Kezi Smith is a social activist, posting tons of videos on YouTube and getting more and more recognition. When she attends her first protest on her 18th birthday, things don't go as planned. 3 months later her sisters are taking a journey down Route 66 in her honor and wondering just how they got there.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Had to read this before diving into the Netflix series The Bridgertons. Both were quite enjoyable and steamy.
I highly recommend the audio for this book, even if you have a physical copy. Hearing is voice is amazing and it makes the book more interesting.
My first book of 2020. It takes place after the pandemic, make me hope for the future. May this year be filled with great reads for you all!!
"If you love me baby, let me in. I'm at your door." After a month of not speaking and having her apartment flooded with flowers, Greer finally forgives Derek and even though they live hours away, he is right there waiting for her.
What I'm reading now!! I reallybloke Bohjalian books. I haven't heard too much about this one though.
"There's also a stat I've thought about a lot lately: that the average person will walk past sixteen killers in the person's lifetime."
*from galley copy*
What I'm reading now. This book is quite intense. Reading it for an Instagram chat this Friday.
Listening to this book this week. The narrator sounds like the guy who does the narration for The First 48. I keep waiting to find out if they are going to solve the case. But it's not that kind of book.
Have you ever listened to a book and the narrator's voice sounds familiar and you are waiting for a certain phrase.
What I'm listening to this week. It has some really good recipes in it.

I devoured this book!! Annika is 32 and she is on the autism spectrum. 10 years ago, she lost the love of her life, but now he's back. Can they start fresh or are the wounds from the past too much to handle?
As a mother with a child on the spectrum, this book really spoke to me. Mostly about the kindness of others. My 9 year old had a "girlfriend" and she is very good with him when others say he's weird.
I really enjoyed this book! It left a mark on my heart and I will be thinking about this book for a while.
Starting out #24in48 with this beauty. Hope to finish this afternoon.
Got this Christmas card in the mail from Joseph Finder. It came with a magnet of the book cover #HappyHolidays
This book was very disturbing. But like a bad car crash, I couldn't tear myself away.
James Patterson is doing something I have never seen before. Releasing a book through Facebook messenger. Search The Chef James Patterson in Facebook Messenger fie this interactive multimedia book.
