We had started watching His Dark Materials on HBO Max and I remember watching the movie years ago. So I decided to read the books.

so-so

It‘s a so-so because I‘m upset! 😆 so many questions and no answers!!!

The story is quite engaging and makes you want to keep on reading until you find out what the heck is going on. Sadly you don‘t find out what the heck is going on! Argh, there are so many questions left unanswered from the last book, which was about the goings on in Riverdale from the past summer. On top of those questions you pile a bunch more from this book! 😤 😔 #YesiReads

TheBookAddict @Letora from what I‘ve gather it seems like neither. It says that it‘s an original novel and not following the show nor the comics. I am not sure how true that is since I haven‘t read the comics nor watched the show. 5y

Quite an interesting story full of small town mysteries, gossip, and secrets. I have not watched the Riverdale show or read the Archie comics, so I wouldn‘t know if it‘s similar to those or not. I do know that Veronica is annoying, I hurt for Jughead, and I‘m disgusted by Geraldine.
