Just realized I shared my top reads of 2022 everywhere BUT here. 😂 My goal was 150; I read 160. In previous years, I‘d broken 200 but I‘m trying to make space for other hobbies, too (podcasts, shows … you know, book adjacent things)! Of my 160, 75 were nonfiction. About half which is pretty on par for me.

Considering everything that was going in my life, it was a pretty good reading year. I had hoped to read more, but life got in the way. I am hoping that this year I will be able to read more, but I'll see how things go. #2022 #yearinbooks #goodreads
I finished 111 books this year, including my last one for the year at 11:58pm. I really embraced the audiobook this year. I find I can take in so much more that way. I also find it much more comfortable to listen to an audiobook while on the bus than reading a physical book or ebook.

How I felt about 2022. This year was a really hard year for me and isn't really one I would like to revisit. I am very hopeful that 2023 will be better; at least I won't be undergoing cancer treatments and I should hopefully continue healing from my cancer treatments and surgeries. #2022

This was my Christmas book haul from family this year. Pretty good haul if I may say so myself. I usually only get books and a jigsaw puzzle as that's all I really want if they insist on getting me something. Hopefully I find the time to read some of them this year.
