How to play: Enter a book title which begins with the last letter of the previous entry. Ignore articles such as "A", "An" & "The". Please check your entry when you post it and try and use an original title (you can check conversations to see if a book has been used before). Use Touchstones where possible.

For some reason I can't get Touchstones to work as it should

98rolandperkins
Sep 29, 2013, 6:05 pm

If I were posting "Essais I", I would give a choice of
N or S as the last letter.

Taking the whole title phonetically, the last letter of 96 is the -n of "Un" ("One").
(I guess Essais is a masculine, plural, so the "I" (part 1) is pronounced "Un". But the part-number could be ignored, so that S is the last letter.
