About the Author
Ann Whitofrd Paul graduated from the University of Wisconsin and Columbia University School of Social Work. She worked as a social worker until she started her family. She soon became inspired to write picture books after years of bedtime reading to her four children. She's published 19 different show more award-winning books. Now she gets story ideas from her three grandchildren. For ten years she taught picture book writing through UCLA Extension. She still enjoys teaching how to write picture books. Well, imo it's too syrupy, esp. the art. And the "If" in the title is key, because of course some animals do actually kiss goodnight, but generally not like we do. I think the elephants and wolves are probably pretty close though.
