My son mentioned this book being read to him at school, so I checked it out from our public library. It's very sweet and heart warming. It contains a very valuable lesson about friends and friendships through Norman and Tree's relationship.

I love the details, like "she used her bravest purple marker." But the story didn't quite work. It's only about stage fright, not talent or practice or passion. And there's no reason for her to have stage fright.

Cute enough. The best part is the fine print on the alternate cover (under the dust jacket) and the endpapers. The worst part is the epilogue, which is even more appalling than the climax (are dino parents really that clueless?).
