Making Connections: 605. ENTANGLEMENT by Maya Panika 2 19 Nov 07, 2012 03:24PM
“There is geometry in the humming of the strings. There is music in the spacing of the spheres. ”
Pythagoras

“There are worlds out there where the sky is burning, where the sea's asleep and the rivers dream, people made of smoke and cities made of song. Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice and somewhere else the tea is getting cold. Come on, Ace, we've got work to do.”
Sylvester McCoy

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
Mahatma Gandhi

“God has no religion.”
Mahatma Gandhi

“If you knew what was going to happen, if you knew everything that was going to happen next—if you knew in advance the consequences of your own actions—you'd be doomed. You'd be ruined as God. You'd be a stone. You'd never eat or drink or laugh or get out of bed in the morning. You'd never love anyone, ever again. You'd never dare to.”
Margaret Atwood, The Blind Assassin

Maya Panika In response to a question from Shovelmonkey1 - I was comparing myself to Samuel Pepys; I too would bury my cheese to protect it, if called upon to do so.

I do like cheese. I'm eating some now!
