Absolutely loved the first quarter of this book with its themes related to spiritual trauma, but then the story shifted gears into a psychotic outbreak where instead of zombies we have sexual aggressors that kinda act like zombies. Maybe it was a giant metaphor, maybe I missed the point, but this book is long and it felt long, and several times I didn’t want to finish. I did finish though and it’s not all crazytown. I mean it is but the storyline progresses despite the repetitive scenes. Read it and see what you think!
