I wanted to start this series because the premise sounded interesting, but damn, they are to many books. 🥴

I wish I had stopped there because the series goes downhill after their books. I think I'm done with this series now 😬
I appreciate this review. I feel like Wright has been going overboard on banter lately and it’s made me hesitant to keep reading her books. I think she’s the only author where I SKIM dialog and that makes it so I don’t connect to the characters as much.
