4 Smut Scale Stars
If you've followed me for any length of time, you know I love this author and adore this series. In fact, I am completely incapable of providing wholly unbiased feedback here, so FYI. That said, I looked forward to this book for a long time and it definitely delivered.
I've loved Teague since we originally met him as Khloe's anchor many books ago and the added element of his mysterious background here was a lot of fun. I loved meeting his clan and their story.
I am also a sucker for a fake dating situation any day of the week, so that was fun too.
I will say that this book didn't grip me like they normally do...I found my mind wandering on occasion...but I think that's just me as I've been under a lot of personal stress lately.
Regardless, another win in my book.
Really hope Viper/Ella are next. The wait begins.

I love this author...this story didn't grip as much as others but like you I'll never not read her books haha. I'm hoping for Viper too!

I can't wait for Viper-Ella!!!I was so excited for Larkin's story though. And she totally delivered! I just expected a bit more backstory about her anchor and Teague's mysteriousness...I don't know. I also found Harper kind of out of character in this one, with the matchmaking etc. Made me wanna re-read all the Harper-Knox books.
It was definitely better than the last one she wrote with Piper-Levi.
I am also irrationally in love with everything Suzanne writes but I found myself no as invested in this one as well, so it might not be just you.
According to her website Ella n Viper’s book is next. Coming to you soon … in July 2024!

Your review makes me really excited. She’s a favorite of mine also and I’ll read anything she writes. That said, her last couple were meh for me. So 4 stars from you has me going into this one with high hopes!

Yes, everything is ok. Just working a lot and my husband and I are on opposing schedules right now, which sucks. I should be used to it all though lol. Thanks Leigh.
