A couple of months ago I thought that I finally managed to add all the books I've read before I started with Goodreads. And now I found all of these encyclopedias I owned and read. And the amount is a bit frightening.
Looking at this one right now, I read the parts till the 18th century so many times! I still have the post-it stickers in it, after all these years. However, I don't think I ever read the 20th century part.

Oh I have the same problem, there are so many books I'm radually starting to remember I've read. I mean my GR says I've read 219 while I'm pretty sure I read that many even before joining ughh

😂 My current read is 1271 which is pretty impressive, however, after finding this book and realising there is a whole huge shelf of books back at home I did not add to my GR read, I now very much doubt that that's all. Let's see what else, I'll be able to find.
But I feel like, I don't remember any book I read before GR, so, that means all is here, right? And then I find something I did read and I'm like: "HOW could you forget THAT book!" 😂
EXACTLY! One big problem is that I used to read books in Persian (my mother tongue) and Persian books are just rare on GR and also there were sooo many translations I don't even know what their English name is! Thus I've lost many if them.
Yeah, same, I read the books in Czech or those books were originally Czech. Either I don't remember the title, so I cannot find it. Or the edition or book is not on GR. And I don't like adding books on GR, it takes me so much time cause I always do something wrong and I need to edit it at least three times. 😂Same with this one, I had to add this edition. 😂
😂😂 well at least I'm good with adding books 😂 I plan to go through my personal library at summer and add them all, specially since I might not be here come September (hopefully at least)
