Unleash the Night (Dark Hunter, #8; Were-Hunter, #2)

I forgot how much I loved this book and the main reason why it’s one of my favourites - Wren – sigh there’s just something about him.
Orphaned with no clan that will claim him, Wren Tigarian grew to adulthood feeling like he belonged nowhere. A blend of two animals - snow leopard and white tiger - Wren is misunderstood and mistrusted by many, even those who house him in Sanctuary.
Wren keeps to himself, until the day Marguerite D'Aubert Goudeau (Maggie), a human enters his world/life. In Maggie he finds a place where he can be at peace. Maggie and Wren worked well together, and as a couple are sweet. But before they can get their HEA Wren has to have deal with the money hungry fools that want his blood, and are willing to hurt Maggie to get to him.
Some secondary character I really liked, others not so much, take for example, Wren's mother, ick, she was more than certifiable – a horrid creature.
No matter how many times I read this I always enjoy the fact that Wren sees the leader of Sanctuary Maman Peltier, in a way many others don’t – she really irked me in this book, but I do like the fact she realised she had more than underestimated Wren, as many others have.
A re-read I completely enjoyed.

Somia, I loved Wren's story. I agree with you, Mama Peltier was very irksome in her attitude towards Wren.
