Stephen Robert Collins This NOT the normal Dickens it is very rarely done on the TV manly because of the lead hero Barnaby & his friend the raven. He is "backward" today that would be big problem because of CD profile of him
He was know for not been political correct .Quilt in Old Curiosity Shop was hunchback paedophile. He insured Jewish with Fagon.Dickens was not very nice man.
This set in Gordon Riots of 18th century.Poor Barnaby is tricked into getting involved because is "not all there"

Joe Scal I am only on page 80, but I agree: this is a really terrifically written book and it so far seems like one of his best. I have found it to be very rich and rewarding. It really gives the reader the sense of the conditions during those grimy times in history. Great story so far, and I would be shocked if it let up. I have a strong feeling I will agree with "one of Charlie's best" by the end.
