I am only on page 80, but I agree: this is a really terrifically written book and it so far seems like one of his best. I have found it to be very rich and rewarding. It really gives the reader the sense of the conditions during those grimy times in history. Great story so far, and I would be shocked if it let up. I have a strong feeling I will agree with "one of Charlie's best" by the end.
He was know for not been political correct .Quilt in Old Curiosity Shop was hunchback paedophile. He insured Jewish with Fagon.Dickens was not very nice man.
This set in Gordon Riots of 18th century.Poor Barnaby is tricked into getting involved because is "not all there"
