This series is one of my favorite series.When I started reading the story,I was reading one book after another so it felt lot more intense and effected my emotions fiercely.I literally had to sit with tissue when Mat was tortured and his brother Dougie mistrusted him.I still now hate Dougie for that.So finding Mat free from the vicious circle and getting help was refreshing but fear still lurks inside me as he is again entering hell willingly to save his brother though with help of Nate and SWAT team but.....its difficult to read such horrible torture and humiliation.Good that I had to give it a gap as the series was not complete, it lost some of its intensity.
Totally mind blowing scenario of this book was when Nate injected the painful serum in Nicholai,I had to clap my hands on the justice done by the author.Awesome.
So now I am hopping to the next book and anybody who likes dark read should start with this gut wrenching series.
Highly recommended!!!
