Rem is supposed to be this beautiful, gorgeous guy and they model on the cover is just not. Maybe it's just a bad picture or wrong angle or I don't know, but it could have been done a lot better.
With that said and out of my system, I liked it!! The writing was beautiful and very good. It was a very realistic account of a girl trying to find her way in life, trying to figure out who she wants to be. It made sad at times because this girl, Sara, had to learn some hard lessons that I as a mother wouldn't want my child to have to go through the things that she did. But Sara turned out ok in the end and that I'm happy for, so yes I really liked this story!...more

I loved the characters, Linus was so adorable and I wanted to see more of J.D. but then I would've had a hard time chosing between them. Marcie was a nice girl, I liked that she learned from her mistakes and was able to forgive herself, her friends, and her parents for their mistakes too. The romance was sweet and I didn't want the book to end....more

I love that she can write in verse and it still says so much. I love how she made two characters after only knowing each other for 8 hours that they feel that much for each other, almost that they love each other. I love books in verse so when I saw this one I had to pick it up. I liked the characters well enough but I didn't get too attached to them. I liked the really liked the writing, lots of emotion and feeling in the words. The story was really really sad...I can't imagine how a mother could do that to her child, even thought it happens it real life...the whole mystery of it is Hope can't figure out why Liz would want to kill herself, and then when it's revealed and you get the answers to your questions it kind of falls flat. I wanted more from the story, I wanted (view spoiler)[Hope's mother to go to jail, not to get off scott free (hide spoiler)]. But I still liked it, good characters, awesome writing, great story....more
