I knew from the small snippet of Jack in Butterfly that he would be completely unhinged, and I was absolutely right and I am not mad about that.
Jack will absolutely stress you out and have you hating him about 80% of the time but that 10% will have you rooting for him. Aviva is very easy to root for you want her to get her revenge the way she is loyal to her brother and confident in her mission you know she is on the right path.
Jack goes from insta-love to hate to obsessed to possessive very much whiplash but in the end I had tears in my eyes for Jack.
THAT EPILOGUE! I cannot wait for Issac’s book and the cameo from Leslie and Lucy have me wishing for Lucy book. IFYKYK.

I do want to applaud Stephanie on how she showed their up bringing I had a similar one to Gabi’s and the feelings she had made me tear up because it hit close to home and the representation of teen in that environment spot on.
I am sad the series is over I cannot wait to see what is next I think Chris kicked Aiden out of the top.

Cleo is feisty no nonsense and Miles is a great big cinnamon roll and you love him from the beginning. She is trying to become head intern for the PR team at her college and meets Miles during a scouting trip. He is off-limits for the scouting and her but they cannot deny the chemistry and he honestly will not let her no matter what.

As much as I love Lincoln and Jeremiah, Penn and his unhinged self has me on my toes waiting for his story. If you read Wicked Fury you already have a good bit of backstory on Oakley and Jeremiah but it does them no justice until you read their story.
If you love your MMC to be tough, overprotective, jealous, territorial, dirty talking and soft only for her you are going to love Jeremiah. The way he takes care of Oakley even when she tries to push him away ugh I could not take it.
Oakley is trying to get control of her life after an incident left her feeling helpless and navigating her anger towards Jeremiah who walked away from their friendship 2 years prior. As much as you can tell she loves Jeremiah she does not back down right away he has to wear her down and I love it.
We get more Penn in this one and honestly I love his chaotic nature. So ready for Wicked Spite.

My first book by Jennifer was Hate to Love You which is Maverick and Juliette (Hate You Always) parent’s book so when I saw Maverick was getting one I had to read it right away.
This is book 5 of the series and can be read as a standalone if you want more history on the couples and the Bridger mystery definitely read the first 4. I think Willow and Maverick have to be my favorite he is definitely his father’s son all the way.
This has everything from tension to spice to laugh out loud moments. It moves at a fast pace Maverick is a playboy with a long term grudge. Willow is trying to live her life for herself after dealing with an illness as a teenager and has found it hard especially with her brother and parents hovering over her.
While she knows who Maverick is he has no idea who she is and it causes a lot of stressful moments for me as the reader after their one night stand.
I am really excited for Hayes next and I am thinking we are getting closer the Bridger mystery.

Now I loved Cruz and Ellery BUT Jake and Jenica are perfection I absolutely loved everything about Jake he is a protective, possessive, reformed playboy golden retriever and I think I highlighted every word he speaks to Jenica.
Jenica is strongwilled does not want hand outs and does not trust easy especially men. But after the events of Summer of ‘91 (book 1) her and Jake have a real friendship and you can see her drop her walls.
This is set in the 90s and I have to say the answering machine brought me back to my childhood!
Honestly such an AMAZING follow up to book one which is absolutely amazing but these two and their chemistry with each other and the friendships with Cruz and Ellery it all connects and worth staying up late to finish it.
That ending how long will I have to wait for book 3!

Now this is one of those books if you pay attention you can connect the dots earlier than the MC’s. You do find out early on who Saint is but if you pay attention to the descriptions you will get it sooner, I also doubted myself at first. If you are looking for an MMC with dark tendency but sweet with her Saint isn’t that guy but he is protective.
There is mystery, suspense, and WHAT moments that will have you left wide eyed. This was such a great book and I don’t want to give away spoilers just read add to TBR and enjoy Saint and Violet.
I am excited for Eternal because the moment those two came on the page I knew I NEEDED that backstory.

Was there some characters I wish had more of their point of view and growth but all in all the story did not suffer from it. We also see that while all 7 find her attractive there are a few that are do see her being closed off so much as more of a red flag which I loved how they all just didn't fall at her feet. I did have times where I wish she just would have been more forth coming but I also understand her reasoning. Each of the 7 are great and you cannot pick a favorite and they fit their names so well. The suspense aspect had me on my seat at times as well

Why I loved It From the prologue you get a glimpse into the dynamic between Lincoln and Iris she does not cower to him and he lives for it. They are both broken due to their parents who are now married to each other and they can really lean on each other once they stop fighting each other. The tension between them top tier and steamy! On top of that there is the suspense aspect of someone that is targeting each of them will have you on your seats until the end. I am also obsessed with Lincoln's brothers and the banter between them I cannot wait to read each of their stories I am currently loving Penn and his darkness. I devoured this story.

Why I loved It As much as I love a good enemies to lovers there is something about a best friend to lovers that just hits different! I love the backstory and connection. They have great communication as long as it is not her admitting her feelings for him first. Alex and Nikki might just be my favorite.

The angst, the pining, push-pull, heartbreak it all is here I cannot put into words how amazing and consuming this story is. This does deal with active addiction and recovery as well as bullying and homophobia check your TWs. As someone who has a few close family members who are addicts this hits home and Shae has done an amazing job showing all aspects even in the people that care from tough love to gentle aspect.
The connection between Ollie and Hunt starts from the moment they met and it really does blossom over the years. Unfortunately not everyone especially during high school is ready to admit who they are which leads to a series of events.
Those events are tragic they are soul searching and finding who they each truly are. Both disappointed me at some point but you understand each of them I can’t express how amazing this is without giving away too much so get ready to read in July 10th.

If you are a fan of hockey romance then add bully mixed with forbidden step siblings I had to jump to read this one and let me tell you it did not disappoint. If you are a fan of Hate Me and Brutal obsession you will enjoy this story.
If you love an obsessed morally grey MMC who gives ZERO F and a FMC who dishes it as she takes it. Leslie and Mason are the couple for you. They have tension, toxicity, and obsession all rolled into one.
As much as I love them I cannot wait for Lucy’s story.
