This was okay for me, I like Hazel Gower's Bears series a lot. This series is completely different and is more of a mate now, explain later. It had some funny moments and Karen is not quite the submissive mate and has a mind of her own, which keeps her mates on their toes.

Kyran knows Marjorie is his mate but as a twin and the son with a genetic defect he knows that he cannot pursue his mate. The pull is strong though and there is a threat that is coming that has everyone trying to protect Marjorie who is struggling with the secrets that are unfolding around her.
This was great, what a uniquely different shifter story. I was pulled in right away, found Kyran a bit broody and had a darker charismatic vibe in the story. Marjorie was a girl who I definitely wanted to know more about. I definitely want more for this series. So many complex plot points I want to see how they pan out....more

Aric knew Jordan was his mate for years, but she was young and he wanted to wait until she was older to claim her as his. What Aric didn't know though was Jordan's past has her nervous to trust him, he plans to prove he will do anything to protect her and when she is threatened he acts swiftly while making sure she knows he is the most important person in the world to him.
This was really good. I thought the whole story flowed well and Aric is a force to be reckoned with. Jordan was definitely sassy. Look forward to the other books in this series.

Had some great supporting characters in this story. Darius was arrogant but he has a few moments where he begins to learn about himself and becomes a better person. Entertaining story....more
