I'm surprised to be the first person reviewing it but hopefully will not be the last. Skiff is one awesome, gentle man with a libido to match the great outdoors. His and Drew's sexcapades would have exhausted me at twenty yet he's plugging it at fifty-one. Beneath all of the sex lies a beautiful story chock full of feels that had me smiling and choked up. I loved Skiff easy going friendships and his devotion to his friends. It speaks a lot to his character.
The only thing that keeps this book from being a five star is that Mr. Ferrill can get a bit wordy which made even the book blurb unfortunately unattractive. That is far from true as the reader will find.
Lastly, Mr. Ferrill is giving the book away on Facebook to keep readers busy while stuck indoors due to the vivid 19 virus. Three cheers to you sir!...more

The only thing that kept this story from being a five star read is that both Kyle and A.J. acted and seemed more like teens than grown men. It had much of the charm and style that is her hallmark. The tough part for me is that I expect to love every book that Easton writes. Robby and the Crabtree family felt stilted and awkward which made their interactions in the latter part of the story all the more unbelievable. I do not think that the old west is the place for this author....more
