It does give you a history of the MC and the family and brotherhood explained introducing other characters to come. I really enjoyed this story! it kept me on the edge and made me anxious in some parts. Very well written!

Beauty is only skin deep and the scars you show on the surface do not mean that the flaw is more than skin deep. Some scars are made to be beautiful no matter how horrific the way they came to be. Liam and Nia were these two characters. Both thought their scars defined them but in reality they made them more than what they were before the scars came to be. I loved this story and it was not about the scars it was about how they both came out on the other side after the scars were given. It just makes you think how much stronger they had to be to survive. Riveting with a story you will not walk away from unscathed. Miss Reavis has brought a story that is heartbreaking as it is beautiful. THIS IS A STORY YOU WANT ON YOUR SHELF!
