I though this book was going to go one way and it went in a completely different direction. I completely loved it! This was such a cute love story.
Evie loses her job and her BF convinces her to start her own PI business to help people find love. Her other BF, Jon decides to help out and become her partner. The consequences are hilarious. Evie's first client hires her to get info on a potential boyfriend, Tate, which caused Evie to have to join a gym and almost die in the process of work outs. Jon's first client turn out to be crazy.
The only part of the book I didn't like as much was Kate (the BF) and Jon's friendship. There at times seemed to be something more there, then the next day they hated each other. Although book two is about Kate, so maybe the will finally make up!...more
Foster is just being released from jail after serving five years for a crime he didn't commit. He is ready to start over with no family and 3.75 Stars
Foster is just being released from jail after serving five years for a crime he didn't commit. He is ready to start over with no family and trying to hide away from the press and people hounding him about the past. Fortunately for him, he is still a billionaire from old family money so he escaped to CA. Addison has been waiting for the last five years to get revenge on Foster for the damage he did to her family. Only did he really do it? Or is she seeking revenge from the wrong person.
I enjoyed this book for the most part. It was actually very funny. I did not expect it to be a comedy, I thought it might be a suspenseful romance. However the comedic part of the book it what I enjoyed the most. Addison's character was just a series of screws up one right after another. She also seemed a little flakey to me. She started out set on getting her revenge, then she sees Foster and does a 180 and decides to jump his bones instead. I did enjoy Foster's character. He was jaded and broady but at the same time humble and ready to correct his past and make a better future for himself. Over all I enjoyed the story line.
"For what it's worth", he says, reaching down, and cupping my chin in his hand, "I fuckin' adore you, Mercedes."
Great twist on Five Fabulous Stars
"For what it's worth", he says, reaching down, and cupping my chin in his hand, "I fuckin' adore you, Mercedes."
Great twist on MC stories. While most MC books deal with the bikers and adult issues, this one was about the MC Club's kids. It was nice to see the world of MC clubs from their point of views and how they deal with the club and their parents issues.
Plus this book was fabulously funny! I love humor mixed in with romance. When a relationship isn't in the works due to "hating" each other, Mercedes decides her and Diesel are going to be friends. The results are hilarious. He constantly tells her she is a pain in his ass and she retorts that he is stuck with her. A relationship built on good humor is the best.
They have to overcome several obstacles before they can even start their relationship. Mean jealous bitches who are constantly trying to hurt Mercedes. And of course the hugest obstacle - Mercedes and Diesel are from different MC clubs.
Great sexy book! Full of hot sexy bikers, young love and humor!...more

Zoe is hired to re-paint an old Inn owned by Jake's mother. The two realized that they are attracted to each other, however Zoe, after getting out of a bad, controlling marriage is not ready for another relationship. Both like to have control in a relationship and are not welling to give that up. The two continuously tease each other two see who will give in first.
Along the sideline story, the Inn is haunted by a perverted old ghost who likes to rearrange rooms, mess up beds and pinch butts!

The ghost also is a peeping tom and likes to make obscene gestures to Zoe and loves to pop up at all intimate momments. He is hilarious!!
Although, I would have to say the funnies part of the book is Jakes' mother's "Garden Club". I bunch of old ladies who like to get together and gossip. When Jake pisses off Zoe, she gets back at him buy painting a nude portrait of him for everyone to see. The old ladies reactions are hilarious!!
"You think that hose-like appendage is real? It looks damn dangerous to me. If a lady wasn't careful, she could have that thing coming up out of her mouth it's so long"
They remind me of [image]
Overall this is a great book, if you are in need of some romance and some great laughs, you should check it out!

Another KA book that did not disappoint! I loved this book. I was laughing the whole time. It reminded me a lot of the Stephanie Plum series - only better. Indy cracked me up, she sure could get herself in some sticky situations and amazingly get out of them mostly unharmed. I just adored everything about the book, the characters were amazing. I can't wait to read the next one in the series. :)...more
