Rosenman, MuseItUp Publishing – At first, the bold title threw me a bit, but this four-book collection (two novels, two stories) lives up to it. “The Blue of Her Hair, the Gold of Her Eyes” is about a woman who contracts a mysterious disease that makes everybody fear and shun her. It won Preditor’s and Editor’s 2011 Annual Readers Poll in the SF/F short story category. “More Stately Mansions” features a beautiful planet with empty cities. Where are the inhabitants? I kept reading to find out. The two novels, Dark Wizard and Dax Rigby, War Correspondent also kept me guessing. Dark Wizard is more of a paranormal romance compared to Dax Rigby’s pure science fiction, but I found that the author infuses both with elements of romance and mystery or detective fiction. All four books are well written. If you like surprises and challenging concepts, this is a great buy. Highly recommend!
