What can I say, I love watching a first time published author grow. The first book was well written but rough around the edges but as I progressed through the series the edges smoothed out and the ribbon that threads all these books together started to shine and by the time I got to this book, I was in love with this family. I won't spoil anything but I will say that you made me laugh hard AND you made cry just as hard. And that RIGHT THERE is the highest praise I can give any author. You made me love these people so deeply that when they laughed, I laughed. But when they hurt, it cut my to the core.
I can only think of a handful of authors who have made me do this including JK Rowling, Quinn Loftis, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanders, and the woman who recommended this book, Ella Frank.
Thank you for sharing you passion and love with me, it has touched me deeply and I'm looking forward to your next book. ...more

But William and Trevor were such interesting characters and they are worthy of having their story told.
The book was just as well written of all the other and I would have loved it if it was for the fact I was just plan mad and pissy about not getting my way.
So in the end, you lost a star not because of bad editing, bad plot, or any of the other reason that might make sense other then I was just mad. Childish, I know. But truth just the same....more
