Sacred Vow by Measha Stone is the story of Isolde 'Izzy' and Andrei. Andrei made a vow to Izzy's brother Craig when he past that he would protect Izzy and their mother. Andrei had Izzy and her mother relocated to Nebraska...far away from Chicago. Now about 7 years later Izzy has come back to Chicago to put her mother to rest with her brother. But more importantly to try to get some of her memories back that she lost when everything happened with her brother. Izzy hopes to go under the radar of Andrei Petrov but he find out she is back and he isn't happy about it. Enjoyed.

Andrei and Izzy have not seen each other in a long time, ever since Andrei sent Izzy and her mom away after her brother died. But now Izzy is back and she wants answers.
Izzy is trying to avoid seeing Andrei because she knows he will not be happy to see her but as fate would have it he knows she’s back in town and is trying to get her to leave. But Izzy is no longer a teen, she is now a beautiful woman, and too tempting.
Measha has done it again! Written wonderful characters as well as a story that satisfies all my needs ❤️❤️

I have to admit, I usually don't read mafia books, but this one was literal fire 🔥🔥🔥.

Izolde "Izzy" comes back to Chicago to remember what happened to her brother Craig when he passed away. Her brother's best friend, Andrei, finds out she's back and he is furious. The reason for that is that he made a vow to her brother to keep her safe. From the moment he sees her again, he is trying to make her go back. Izzy, on the other hand, is quite rebellious, and she starts snooping around, which results in Andrei starting punishing her...OMG... What a punishment those were 🥵🥵🥵. The connection between those two are explosive.

Andrei wanted Izzy for so long, but never allowed himself to be with her, because her safety was more important. But how is he supposed to resist her, when she is everything he ever wanted? Izzy was set on finding the truth and at first didn't want to submit to his orders, but when she lies about something, she can stop herself taking his so-called "punishment". Because that wasn't a punishment, it was pure, sexy, smuty and kinky love. The sex scenes were so hot, that I had the feeling my ears were blowing up some steam. I loved loved loved them.

Overall, I loved reading "Sacred Vow".

3.5 - 4 stars!

Sacred Vow tells the story of Isolde 'Izzy' and Andrei. Izzy's brother was killed and Andrei forced Izzy and her mother to leave and never return to Chicago. However, after seven years Izzy's missing memories of the night her brother died bothers her and she returns to find answers. Izzy's mother passed and she feels alone and desperate for truths.

Hoping not to get noticed by Andrei, she attempts to stay in the shadows but quickly is found and Andrei tries to get her to leave and let it be. But Izzy is tenacious and eventually Andrei decides the best way to keep her safe is to make her his.

Izzy and Andrei had the best chemistry and the steam was kinky and hot. I liked the story and suspense and I'm looking forward to Measha writing more in this world.

*thank you valentinepr & Measha Stone for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!*

Isolde aka Izzy has partial amnesia from the day her brother, Craig, passed away, so she decides to move back to Chicago to hopefully regain her memories.

Her brothers best friend, Andrei, learns that she’s back & he’s livid! He made a vow to Izzy’s brother that he would always keep her safe & that’s seeming impossible when she’s snooping around in things she shouldn’t be.

Izzy is pretty badass! She’s gone through something traumatic and is still standing which I find admirable. She WILL NOT back down, even though Andrei doles out punishments for her misbehaving.

Andrei is your typical hot mafia mmc. He’s ruthless and stern but I loved that we got to see his softer side come out with Izzy.

There’s twists and suspense throughout. Overall, I really enjoyed & recommend this story!

- a mafia romance! romantic suspense, age gap, praise k!nk!
- their sexual tension from like page one is so strong
- i cannot pronounce her full name for the life of me 😂
- okay well her punishment was super hot
- look he’s an asshole but… it’s hot what can i say
- i honest to god think i’d just leave Chicago, a lot of fuss
- this is a very fast paced book!
- “Hate you Isolde? That’s one thing I’ll never do.” 🥵🥵🥵
- the sex scenes are written very well
- Andrei is so funny and he doesn’t even mean to be 💀
- i also love how head strong Izzy is, i would of given up by now lmao
- the praise k!nk is done so well in this book
- i don’t know why she thought she would be able to go out without Andrei not knowing where she was 😂
- tbh all the action happened in the last 30 pages lol
- but it was a really good third act conflict and it worked really well!
- but her memories were really sad :(
- i think everything was answered really well tho!!
- and their love confessions were the BEST
- but no epilogue made me sad
- i really enjoyed this!! super quick, fast paced book where they’re just obsessed with each other from the get go (even tho she tried to deny it lol)
- and i’m hoping a for Viktor and Marlena, yes?

In my opinion, this book is another winner for this talented author. I loved the sense of anticipation that she instilled into the characters and the storyline. The characters were fully developed and relatable. There was a constant build-up and plot twist throughout. The plot dives straight into the background and psyche of Andrei and Izzy, giving insight as to why they reacted as they did. The power dynamics were both disciplinary and sensual.

This was a romance first with the potentially deadly elements. Mystery,
danger, angst, and suspense, this is what to expect from Andre and
Isolde story. A complex, intense relationship between a dominant male
and a feisty female.

I was frustrated with Izzy at times and felt like shaking her for not taking
the threat of danger seriously, but in time, I started to understand why she was so driven to recapture her memory of the day her brother, Craig, died. She was determined and impulsive, but Andrei was just as determined to
keep her safe with painful punishments.

There was honor even in the criminal world, and Andrei was committed to
keeping his vow to keep Izzy safe. Andrei was unhappy when Izzy returned
to Chicago after seven years of seeking answers. Andrei did everything he could to make Izzy return to Nebraska and out of harm's way, but she was just as persistent to stay. He was sometimes harsh as his dominance
took over in its glory.

This book had the right amount of tension, emotion, and heat. It is an intense experience filled with raw passion, lust, and punishment sciences. My only criticism is that I thought the ending was too abrupt, and I was left
wanting more from this couple.

Andrei Petrov had been Izzy’s brother’s best friend. She’d grown up considering him almost another brother to her but any feelings she had, had ended after Craig’s death which had Andrei promptly sending Izzy and mother into exile in Nebraska warning them never to return to Chicago. Now after seven years she’s returned with two objectives, to bury her mother’s ashes with Craig and to try to recover her blocked memories about what had really happened the day he’d died but she hadn’t reckoned on Andrei demanding she leave immediately. When she doesn’t do what he tells her, the only way he can see to protect her is by marrying her and giving her the protection of his name. To begin with he’s motivated by a promise to his dead friend, but he soon realises that that the girl he knew is now a woman.

Sacred Vow was a steamy, fast paced, romantic suspense read with a strong story involving secrets and promises and a heroine with missing memories who doesn’t realise the danger she’s in simply from being back in Chicago from people who want to know what is blocked inside her head and the only person standing between her and them is Andrei. You’ve got to love a caveman type of hero and mobster Andrei gives off that vibe in spades. What he says goes especially when he’s doing it to protect Isolde as he calls her and he’s not above punishing any disobedience with a spanking. Unfortunately, Izzy is feisty and determined so this leads to several sizzling confrontations with him which added a liberal dose of spice to what was a great romantic suspense story. There was also a couple of secondary characters in Viktor and Marlena who caught my eye. Now there’s a woman with secret and I’m hoping that their story might be coming soon.

Holy hotness 🥵. This was a pleasant surprise and I love Steamy and suspenseful Mafia storyline. I liked it was a quick and easy read too.
Andrei Petrove is a Mafia boss and man is he dominant, growly and knows what he wants. He will protect with his all when it comes to what belongs to him.
Izzy was his to protect and keep safe and he will do anything to make sure he does. She was his best friends sister. After he passed, he promised to take care of them. So he sent them away to keep the bad guys away. When Izzy comes back after 7 years, Andrei is not happy.
So much suspense and intrigue to find out what happened to Craig (Izzy's brother). Also why can't Izzy remember what happened on that fateful day. This was why she needed to come back home. She misses her brother and is sad she can't remember his last day with her.
Andrei gives her the choice of either going back or marry him. I love that Izzy doesn't give in, she fights him all the way. Secretly she loves the punishment she has in store for her every defying action. It is hot hot and hot. That man knows how to bring a woman down to her knees or on his knee 😉.
Read and find out what happens when the past finds her and what that memory was. Andrei is definitely touch her and unalive guy.
Lots of action, suspense, secrets kidnapping, pain (good and bad) and steam.
It was a fantastic book, I just wish there was an epilogue. Think that would have helped strengthen their chemistry a bit more.
I hope we get Marlene and Victors story next.

This is the first book in the new mafia series and Izzy and Andrei's story. I liked that the author starts the story, and the background information is filled in throughout the book. I normally don't have a problem with the two main characters but this time it took a while to understand and feel they belong together. I felt the secondary characters weren't fleshed out as much as she normally does, and she shortchanged the back story the main characters had together. That made it difficult to feel they belonged together. The end also seemed a bit off as if Izzy just accepted but didn't really feel that she loved Andrei. The author had this issue with another series but not with all, so I'll give the next story a chance and hope the beginning of the arc was just a rough start. The mafia part of the story was good but did lack because of the shaky back story. I understand that Izzy had amnesia, but the reader felt like we were tossed in and had to tread the rapids. The lack of the disclosed back story took away from the reader understanding who the characters were and a real connection. The second story was set up at the end. Hopefully the author fleshes out the main female character because the reader feels a disconnect with her but a feeling, she could be awesome. I also feel that the main male character is stronger and more overprotective than his brother who's supposed to be the head of the family. I can't give it a five and waffled between a three and four because of the lack of connections and fleshing out. The series does hold promise and time will tell if the author fulfills. I just wish the author had fleshed out things more, so we felt more connected.

After loosing her brother and her memories of that night, Izzy has spent seven years away from her hometown. Tired of living her life with a gaping hole in her memory and her need for closure to leave the past behind her, she's determined to find out what really happened that night.

Except being back home and stirring up secrets puts her in danger, least of all, being back on Andrei Petrov's radar. He was her brother's best friend and the reason why her mother packed them up and moved them far away.

Izzy and Andrei have a little enemies to lovers vibe going for them. They clash over Izzy's determination to stay and uncover the truth behind her brother's death and Andrei's need to keep his promise to protect her at all costs. When an enemy comes out of the shadows for Izzy, they'll set aside their difference and learn they're better together than apart.

This has some spice and some suspense but lacked in the fluff/romance department. I liked it but the tension between Marlena and Viktor stole the show towards the end.

“Sacred Vow” is a dark Mafia story by Measha Stone. It’s an age-gap, brother’s best friend story with domestic discipline.

Izolde "Izzy" returns to her hometown of Chicago, desperate to remember what selective amnesia stole from her – the memories about the death of her older brother, Craig . After his funeral, her brother's best friend, Andrei, put her and her mother on a plane headed for Nebraska. Seven years later, her mother has died and Izzy is determined to recapture those missing memories. When Andrei finds out returned, he is desperate to make her leave again, knowing how much danger she is in. He had vowed to Craig that he’d keep her safe and he is determined to do so. Izzy is equally determined to get answers. The danger keeps building, as does the overwhelming attraction between Izzy and Andrei.

This is a very steamy story, and an interesting one as well. As more and more is revealed about Izzy’s brother, the tension mounts.. Izzy is sometimes foolish in her decisions, but her choices are understandable, not immature. Andrei is a strong and fearless Mafia leader, but when it comes to Izzy, there is nothing he won’t do to keep her safe. I thought the ending was nicely done. We are left with a clear direction this new series will take next, and I’m looking forward to reading.

I throughly enjoyed reading Sacred Vows.
I liked the suspense of the book and the bit of mystery going on.
Andrei and Isolde were amazing characters with depth to them.
But I have to say Andrei stole the show for me.
I absolutely adored him from the moment he is introduced and that adoration just kept growing until the end.
He’s the morally gray hero. With a heart of gold, he’s fiercely loyal and when he makes a vow it’s sacred. There is no way not to fall for him.
Isolde is a young woman who has lost a lot. She’s come back to her home town of Chicago.
For a couple of reasons. One is to get some closure on past trauma.
The second is because she misses the city and everything that she had there.
But some people are weary of her coming back.
Andrei is still upholding his sacred vow of protecting Izzy even years later.
But now it’s more than just his promise his feelings are running deeper.
Their physical chemistry is sexy and steamy.
The passion and lust that is between them is insanely hot!
But they are also bonded through a secret that is lost in Izzy’s head.
That part of the story was gripped and I needed to know what was in Izzy’s mind that was so utterly terrifying that her mind shut down on it. So I was flipping the pages as fast as I could read.
A good story that had me hooked from start to finish.

These two are a hot mess so hang on 😊 there’s betrayal, jealousy, lies, secrets, murders oh, let’s not forget that little thing we call violence while we are at it so hang on make sure buckle up this is one wild ride so make double check you are buckled up. Andrei sexy as all get out dangerous man one you do not one to be on the wrong size of, he is ruthless, dangerous, deadly every day, but loves his family/friends so when he makes a promise or vow in this case, he intends to keep it and that he does for all of seven years. Izzy is a sweetheart does what she is told for the most part so when she lost her brother suddenly, her home after being moved to a new state with her mom and now that her mother has passed away she heads back home to lay her to rest with her brother maybe finding what she feels like has been missing to do so she has to stay out of sight so to speak. Izzy didn’t know when she comes back into his city he knows all and intends on letting her know breaking the rules isn’t acceptable but what he didn’t expect was a beautiful women he does everything to get her to leave but of course she does what she wants which leads to a punishment but oh, boy what a punishment but it stop there, will he keep her safe as promised, will she learn to listen, and where are the two of them headed?

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/6.
🌶️🌶️🌶️.5/5.

This is my first book by this author. I loved Andrei but Izzy was a bit more difficult to love but that has to do with my preferences than anything else. I was also a bit confused about what this was. I just assumed by the end of it that Andrei is the boss of the russian mafia in this city because he is russian. I don't remember reading anything specific about this topic besides someone saying they do shady stuff, whatever that means.

When Andrei decides something, he does it whether that means keeping someone from going places or not. If he wants someone then he will do anything to have her and Izzy was the one. I liked that he punished her 😉.

Izzy has selective amnesia so she comes to her hometown where stuff went down to try and see if she can remember what happened years ago but all that puts her in Andrei's sights.
Izzy was such a brat though and I appreciate bratness but she was too much for me and hence why I mentioned above that this is about preferences. I feel like her bratiness/ stubbornness at times put her in danger which to me at some point came across as her being a brat/stubborn just for the sake of it which in turn made her kind of a dummy imo. i liked her for the most part but her being such a brat brought the story down for me but if you like this type of fmc and wanna dip your toes in mafia then this is for you. Just expect a bit of a spanking here and there. 🙃

Isolde aka Izzy has been gone seven years. She is back to try and get her memory. There is too many blank spots. She certainly didn’t expect to see Andrei Petrov. Andrei wants Izzy out of Chicago. He sent her and her mother away five years ago. She was not to come back. But her she is and she isn’t going to leave. She wants to memories and she isn’t going to let Andrei get in her way. I have to say that Izzy is a fighter. She works on the fly and knows how to protect herself. Unfortunately not every villain is easily seen. Andrei isn’t a bad guy. He has a secret from Izzy and he just wants to protect her. It is rough going for Izzy. For one Andrei is being overprotective, well that is what she thinks. And for another, that blank spot in her memory is going to get her killed. She really doesn’t know what happened when her brother Craig died. When it all starts to fall into place, danger is just right in her face. Andrei can be demanding but I get why. Yes, Izzy does get some serious punishment but there is also so really hot sex. When her memory finally comes back, it’s harsh and sad. And what is with her friend Marlena and Viktor? Are we going to get a story about them? I wasn’t too sure about her.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Andrei and Izzy. After Izzy lost her brother Andrei sent her and her mother away. However Izzy has always had questions and now is the time for answers. When her brother died she has lived with partial amnesia of the day . It's been years since they have seen each other and she knows that he is not going to be thrilled to see her at all. She is avoiding him. He is after all her brothers best friend. She thinks he wouldn't know she is back but he really does. His mission now is to get her to leave again as soon as possible but he isn't dealing with a teenager anymore that is going to do what her mom tells her to do. Plus she has grown into a beautiful woman and is way too tempting to him and snooping in things she really has no business snooping in. That's about all I can tell you and not give something away. I really loved reading this book. It will have you hooked from the beginning to the end. I loved how tough Izzy was and how she never backed down. Andrei is ruthless and very stern but has the yes daddy vibe about him and he isn't afraid to dole out punishments. You are going to love this book. Don't miss it.

Even though I've read some of Measha Stone's books previously, I'm still not on solid ground as far as her world-building or character development. Her new release 'Sacred Vows' is a Mafia Romance with touches of domestic discipline and BDSM scenes which always catches my attention. In this one, we have Isolde, aka Izzy, and Andrei's story. Seven years ago Izzy's brother was killed by a rival gang and unfortunately, Izzy was witness to something that happened. Her brother's best friend, Andrei, gave his solemn oath to her brother before he died to protect Izzy. That's why he made them leave Chicago and sent them to Nebraska. Now she's back and she wants answers. She has no memory of how or why her brother died and, in her mind, once she has that information she'll have all her memories back and can go on with her life. Little does she know it's much more complicated than that. He's overprotective and she's headstrong and independent. Can you say clash much? But the tension is explosive when mixed with the chemistry these two have for each other. They have to get through the drama and danger of everything in their path. It was a good story and I'm hoping this turns into a series.

This was my first read by this author and I quite enjoyed the story so it definitely won't be my last one. I have to say though that there were a few things about the lead character Andrei I didn't always agree with but that's just a personal preference and didn't lead me away from the story itself. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Andrei and Isolde. The story had a lot of moments that just drew yourself into it but it also had suspenseful times that had you on the edge of your seat. A great read!

As Isolde "Izzy" tries to make sense of what happened in the past, Andrei may be the only one that will stand in her way but no matter what he tries, Izzy is determined to not let him get to her although it's not easy as Andrei has a lot of power in town. But slowly Izzy seems to realise that he's doing whatever he can to protect her from not only the truth but also people who may want to harm her to get what they really want. Will he break down her walls and make her see that he might be the only one to help her in the end?... And will they find their way to one another?...

If you like your book boyfriends to be strong, dark, mafia men whose sole purpose is to protect their woman, even if it means giving her lots of naughty punishments to make her see things his way, then Andrei is the one.

Several years ago, Izzy witnessed her brother's murder, but as a trauma response, she has blocked all recollection of it. Her brother's best friend Andrei promised to protect her and did so by sending her away, but now she’s back and after answers. Izzy doesn’t realise the danger she is in by trying to dredge up the past, but Andrei is right back there by her side, even when she doesn’t want it.

The book is very heavy on the spice; some of the moments are slightly dubious, as Andrei uses punishments like spanking, belts, and even anal to try and get his point across. While originally combative towards Andrei, there is a deep connection and attraction between the two, and feelings do grow.

Despite being a short read and very full of spice, the storyline running through was suspenseful and teased at the danger and tension. Sideline characters such as Izzy’s best friend hint at more to come in the future.

A great start to a new series, strong plot and characters that will hold you completely
Andrei Petrov is her brother’s best friend, she regarded him as almost another brother but since Craigs death both her and her mother had been sent away to Nebraska and they had been warned never to return.
After seven years she has returned to bury her mother’s ashes as sh wished and to try and recover her memories that might be able to show her what actually happened the day that Craig had been killed. Andrei demands that she leave immediately and he explains that if she refuses, he can only protect her by marriage. He is motivated by his best request that he care for his sister, she is no longer a girl she is a woman that is strong minded and determined and he knows he has his hands full.
This was a very enjoyable and action filled read thar shows how secrets and promises can actually cause more difficulty and now Andrei knows that he is responsible as she is his wife. Isolde as fe refers to her is beautiful and very smart however, Izzy is feisty and full of spirit and there is only one way to keep her in line and safe.

Seven years ago, Andrei Petrov put Isolde Madson on a plane to another state, away from the danger that chased her after her brother was murdered. Now she’s back trying to remember what happened and why her lost memories are so threatening. While Andrei tries to keep her safe, Isolde keeps trying to run away. As the two grow closer, will Andrei be able to protect her?

What I like most about this story are the characters. Andrei is a protector, and Isolde is a stubborn young woman who refuses to give in to his demands. I like that Isolde refuses to take orders. The world building is good, and the plot and pacing are excellent. I like the suspense element of the story. Isolde’s missing a few days of her memory and doesn’t know why she’s in danger. The more she tries to get those memories back, the more Andrei tries to get her to stop, but nothing can keep the two of them from developing a strong bond.

I recommend Sacred Vow. Read it and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss.

Dark, dominant romance with the expected heat and the warmth of heart
Sacred Vow by Measha Stone is a thrilling read in a variety of ways. While the characters engage the heart, they also crank up the heat. It's enemies to lovers with plenty of dominance adding some spice to the darkness of the suspenseful mystery Izzy finds herself embroiled in.
Andrei and Izzy spark and sizzle both in and out of steamy scenes. As oppositional as enemies can get, these characters are entertaining and titillating, equally determined and persistent. There's never a dull moment!
Overall, this fast-paced dark romance is decadently dominant enemies with history to lovers with an overwhelming need for each other held me enthralled while engaging my heart as much as it got it racing. Best of all, these characters challenge each other on the regular and find their way back from former-friend enemies to forever loves and a HEA.
I read an ARC of this book via Grey's Promotions and voluntarily share my review.

For some reason, Scared Vow did not have any effect on me. I enjoyed the plot of the storyline and the banter between the FMC, Izzy, and MMC, Andrei, but I was expecting something more. Izzy is a strong FMC who will stop at nothing to remember what happened to her brother and why she had to leave the only life she’s ever known. Being back in town though is also drawing some unwanted attention. Everyone what’s to know what is in her head that’s been blocked and she’ll stop at nothing to remember, if it means she can be free of Andrei. Andrei made a promise to her brother, to protect her, even if it’s from himself. With Izzy back in town she’s kicked the hornets nest trying to remember and the only way he can truly protect her is by marrying her. Giving her a last name that would promise whoever touched her would die. It felt like their relationship was more rushed than expected and not a lot of substance was placed into it. I enjoyed the spicy scenes but felt that it took charge of the book and that the storyline was put on the back burner till the end.

Sacred Vow is the first book in a new Mafia series. Seven years ago, Andrei sent Izzy away for protection, but now she’s back. While she says no to his many demands, neither can resist their chemistry, but as danger stalks her around every hazy corner, will Andrei be able to keep her safe so he can claim her for his own?

Ohhh my goodness, this book was so good! I really enjoyed all of the interactions, the tangible chemistry, and the love that ultimately forms between Izzy and Andrei. Izzy was tenacious and refused to give up on finding her memories surrounding her brother’s death. She was firm in her beliefs, and I liked that even when Andrei made things difficult, she never backed down. She was a strong character with a few bratty tendencies, but I really enjoyed her strength and determination. Andrei made a vow to her brother to keep her safe, but I loved that as soon as she didn’t just leave town, he claimed her as his own. I love those type of vibes in a book boyfriend! Definitely a touch her and die type of alpha guy, and I really enjoyed his character, too. They balanced each other well, had amazing chemistry in and out of the bedroom, and had some pretty steamy scenes together, too! I loved the few twists and turns that this book took, I enjoyed the suspense, tension, action, and drama that occurred, and I really hope that Izzy’s friend will get her book, too, because something is going on with her! Really great read!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Ms.Stone you hooked me in with this book. I will be anxiously waiting for more books in this series. Isolde Madson is back to her hometown of Chicago. She and her mother left for Lincoln, Nebraska after her brother died. Her mother has recently passed and Izzy never liked Nebraska so she was quick to come back to where she felt was home. Unfortunately, Izzy is not supposed to be back. There are a few people that want information. Information that she can’t provide because she has dissociative amnesia.

Andrei Petrov was Izzy’s brother’s best friend. He vowed to keep her and her mother safe. Having Izzy in Chicago, put Andrei in jeopardy of breaking that vow. Andrei tried to stay away from Izzy. He could not have her in his town because he knew he would have to have her. Izzy has long since had a crush on Andrei but she refuses to allow him to run her life and stop her from recovering her memories. Izzy is very determined and Andrei must resort to extreme measures to keeping her safe. Measures that include marriage. Is Andrei just doing this to keep Isolde safe? I loved, loved, loved both of them. I can’t wait to see what’s going on with Viktor.

🖤Mafia
🖤Forced Proximity
🖤Brother’s Best Friend
🖤Romantic Suspense

I have loved everything I’ve read by this author and Sacred Vow is no different! I love a possessive OTT alphahole and Andrei definitely fits that description! But all of it comes from a good place because he just wants to protect his friend’s little sister, Izzy.

After losing her memories of the day her brother was murdered, Izzy moves back to her home town to try to get her memories back. But she doesn’t realize that those memories will put her in danger. When Andrei takes her to protect her she fights him every chance she can.

The angst and banter is everything between these two! They also have some very steamy moments that will have you fanning yourself. These two are off the charts hot! I read this way too fast and didn’t want it to end. I really hope we get Viktor and Marlena’s story cause I already know it’s going to be great!

Isolde (Izzy) is a fiesty/strong FMC. She has amnesia from a tragic event in her life that her brain has decided to block her out from. Isolde is back in her childhood area to try and get her memories back. But who she doesn't expect to run into is Andrei her brother's best friend.

Andrai is your typical Mafia MMC. He is authoritative, dominate and will do anything to keep his promise to Izzy's brother Craig for keeping her safe.

The banter and angst between these two characters is so good. Izzy is not your typical FMC she is strong and not willing to back down. She does find that she struggles internally with the "punishments" Andrai dishes out for her. Izzy finds herself submitting more to Andrai and that she likes it.

I wish the ending didn't end so abruptly, I would have liked to see more of this couple..maybe get an Epilogue from them.

I receive an ARC from Greys Promotions (Valentine PR) for my honest review.
