RIA QUINN MYSTERIES is my cozy mystery series, beginning with "Hidden In Stone"... An amateur archaeologist transplanted from London to upstate New York discovers more than prehistoric artifacts when she settles into the small town of Shokan Falls, having a murder occur on the very day she arrives. I am writing Book 4 now, still to be titled...

It is like playing a musical instrument--you can't do it all at once, but instead, each day brings facility. It doesn't matter so much how long you spend at it in one sitting. After a while, you'll want to expand the time, anyway.(less)

“Life is an infinite series of probabilities.”
Regina Clarke

“If we are at the center, then we are still innocent in a way, because things are clear, familiar. We’re free of the unknown. And for all our love of knowledge, I think we equate it with loss at some level, because new information always means change. It’s a matter of whether we’re open to that and our ego can handle it, or we’re afraid of what it means for us.”
Regina Clarke, Gene Pool

Regina Clarke

“You were born into a state of grace. It is impossible for you to leave it. You will die in a state of grace whether or not special words are spoken for you, or water or oil is poured upon your head. You share this blessing with the animals and all other living things. You cannot fall out of grace, nor can it be taken from you. You can ignore it. You can hold beliefs that blind you to its existence. You will still be graced but unable to perceive you own uniqueness and integrity, and blind also to other attributes with which you are automatically gifted.”

“Suffering is not good for the soul, unless it teaches you how to stop suffering. That is its purpose.”
Jane Roberts, Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul

“The imagination, backed by great expectations, can bring about almost any reality within the range of probalities. ”
Jane Roberts
