I'm also plotting out an interconnected standalone for my current release, Santa's Broken Toy. It's going to be another holiday novella, and this one will be about the adult son of my male lead.(less)

The feeling of putting your story into words on paper is indescribable.

If you'd like to find an audience for your book beyond friends and family, I suggest to start with reading books on the craft of writing and really knowing your audience. Know your genre well. Know who your readers are. Know what they want from your type of story. If you are keyed in on the emotions, tropes, and beats that make readers salivate for more, then you'll have more confidence in your writing. I also highly recommend finding an editor, writing critique partner, or at minimum, beta readers. Getting feedback along the way prior to publishing is so important.(less)

"I came for the title… but stayed for the fantastic story

Look, the title had me hooked. I didn’t even need to read a blurb.

The story though, so much yummy, filthy spice… but also such a sweet story of grief, moving on, and find yourself again. Realiz" Read more of this review »

"first book????

There’s no way this is the first book by author Oona Grace. Smut aside, of which there is plenty, this was such a well written emotional book that I’d have guessed the author was a seasoned veteran at pulling emotion from her readers.

"This book was an absolutely perfect holiday read. It was incredibly sexy while also being sensitive to the main character, Mary’s troubled backstory. These characters are old enough to know their own bodies and they know how to have a good time, toge" Read more of this review »

“I was a little excited but mostly blorft. "Blorft" is an adjective I just made up that means 'Completely overwhelmed but proceeding as if everything is fine and reacting to the stress with the torpor of a possum.' I have been blorft every day for the past seven years.”
Tina Fey, Bossypants

“Get Off The Scale!

You are beautiful. Your beauty, just like your capacity for life, happiness, and success, is immeasurable. Day after day, countless people across the globe get on a scale in search of validation of beauty and social acceptance.

Get off the scale! I have yet to see a scale that can tell you how enchanting your eyes are. I have yet to see a scale that can show you how wonderful your hair looks when the sun shines its glorious rays on it. I have yet to see a scale that can thank you for your compassion, sense of humor, and contagious smile. Get off the scale because I have yet to see one that can admire you for your perseverance when challenged in life.

It’s true, the scale can only give you a numerical reflection of your relationship with gravity. That’s it. It cannot measure beauty, talent, purpose, life force, possibility, strength, or love. Don’t give the scale more power than it has earned. Take note of the number, then get off the scale and live your life. You are beautiful!”
