At some point, Robin married her husband and gave birth to their son Jesse a few years after the Cordyceps brain infection outbreak. When Jesse was young, Robin would read a children's book to him titled The Root Child, and would improvise different endings to "keep things fresh."[2] They made their way to Jackson, Wyoming, and eventually settled into the community there led by Maria Miller. Robin and her husband raised Jesse to eventually become a patrolman for the town. They loved and supported him, getting along well with his ex-girlfriend Dina.[3]
Events of The Last of Us Part II[]
In April 2038, Dina revealed to Ellie that she was pregnant with Jesse's child. Upon returning to Jackson from Seattle with Tommy Miller, they informed Robin that Jesse died in the city by Abby Anderson's hand.
Sometime after JJ was born, Robin visited Ellie and Dina's farm, and tried to convince the couple to move back to the safer, more secure setting of Jackson.[1]
