The Raven is a hostile flying Enemy that appears in Graveyards and can be found in the Forest at night during the Halloween event.

Similarly to Vultures, a Raven will be encountered roosting, and will take flight when approached or attacked. It will hover over the player, waiting a few moments before swooping down to attack.

• Ravens can be difficult to see during the night in complete darkness, as they have a very dark color.

Trivia[]

The Bestiary entry for the Raven: "Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore. Nevermore."

• The Bestiary entry is a reference to the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe, in which a man converses with a raven, who only speaks to him the phrase "Nevermore," repeated over and over for 11 times. The number of "Nevermore's" in the Raven's Bestiary entry is the same number as how many of the said word starts with a capital letter N in the poem, that being eight, as well as the placement of the first stanza that says the word "Nevermore" at the end (the eighth stanza).
