Gray Cockatiels and Yellow Cockatiels are critters. As all other critters, they have 5 health, no defense, and are often killed instantly by other enemies or the player. They can spawn in the Jungle between 4:30 AM and 7:30 PM along with other jungle birds, and can be heard chirping when nearby. Similar to other Birds, Cockatiels will not move until approached, where they will fly away.

Cockatiels can be caught with a Bug Net or its upgrades and be carried in the inventory where it can be released, destroyed, or used for crafting.
